Radio Sidewinder

This is adware that happens to have a radio app you can see sometimes between ads for crappy tank games you'd never buy. Literally everything I touched tried to sell me the dumb game. There might be a quality radio station in here, but I can't stomach the rest of the app to find it.

Too many ads, there was a full screen ad displayed every time I changed tabs in the app. It made using it hard. I uninstalled the app because of it.

Best radio for bounty hunting or pirating... or what ever else the universe wants to offer

I'd gladly pay for the ads to stop... 100 too many mobile strike ads.... Uninstalled

It's great. Love listening to Radio Sidewinder all the time! But... Could we maybe get a version that's ad free? I sure as hell wouldn't mind paying a buck or three just to get rid of the gosh darnit bloody ads! Edit: For clarity, it's not the fictional ads, but the real fullscreen bloody things!

I love to listen to the radio station. The ads however are killing this app for me. They're always Fullscreen and some even pause the music. (No, I'm not talking of the fictional ads.)

Love this app. But I would love it more if the podcasts and other recorded audio would work.

5 star app works flawlessly. I had it before they added the exit function.N ow it is a fantastic radio. The tracks are very good. Im stackin favorites left and right.The ads are fine cus they dont stop the rime. Thanks Sidewinder Radio you are the greatest.

You guys should get this added in the game as a station you can tune into. It's hard to listen to on Xbox One because I wear a headset and can't play through it. Have to play the radio on a phone or speaker and can't wear astros.

Full screen video that suddenly changes the phone to landscape (so pointless as my phone is often in a desk charger and stuck in portrait). Why can't you just buy an app these days and get rid of ads that everyone seems to find nothing but annoying.

Cannot wait to see what ED and this blossom into. Favorite game in years and this adds to the experience.

Just wish there was more oc love the commercials ..... Need a in game panel Just a thought to add even more game depth so much more potential..... Don't stop

Absolutely amazing. This will make mining and exploring so much more relaxing. Really adds to the immersion and rp of the game.

Plain and simple, if you play Elite then this is going to blow you away and breath new life into this already incredible game.

What happened to banners! HATE FULL SCREEN ADS. Back to the RS on my PC. I don't think much of the light colour scheme either. Thankfully I found an older version and side loaded it.

Put a skip button on I'm sorry but Xmas music is something that gets me in the mood to play ED

Love the work guys! I'm often times on the road away from the game and this is just what the doctor ordered. I would an option to adjust the bitrate of the stream, sometimes the audio cuts out but the equalizer is still showing sound variations. If you guys need any more voices I would love to help out. Also a Chromecast option would be amazing!

I open app, there's an ad. I press play another add. I press pause yet another add. To make it worse they are all fullscreen with a teeny tiny close button you always miss. If only the music was good, it's mainly 10 years old trance.

Should definately be in the game to make it feel more immersive. This radio station is amazing

Been listening in for almost a year now. Really helps with the space madness on those loooong exploring trips! Great tunes, adverts are hilarious and love getting news reports so I can keep up with what's going on in the galaxy.

Wow, great user-created app. I'm going to send an email to Frontier to add this into the cockpit controls. Maybe add some strobe lights and LED'S in there and my Sidewinder will be decked out. But seriously, great app, love the choice of songs

This is a nice app, I think y'all should try and get it on the Xbox market place. I would love to snap it onto elite dangerous and listen while I'm playing :)

This is just another example of the depth added by the fans for Elite. Finding this I'd what sealed the deal for me buying the game. The "ads" and "talk radio" are awesome for in game depth and knowledge. The music choices are top notch for this game too. I went out on an expl trip to "Space Oddity" and came home to "Son of Flynn" no joke! I have screenshots!

Before the update it worked fine but now a pop-up will appear saying general_player_error whenever I press play.

This version completely lacks of personality. The layout is white (what?) and there's no option for a black and orange skin to make it lowlight friendly and ED themed. All the tabs are gone and half of the screen is covered by social network ads. I wish I could go back to the old version but nope. It seems like I'm going use a media player with streaming functions; at least winamp and vlc for Android are equipped with dark skins.

App no longer works on my device. "General_player_error" Shame because it' was awesome.
