WCHQ is an FCC licensed Low Power FM Station broadcasting 24/7 at 100.9 FM and streaming on the web.
Our goal is to provide local bands and musicians a place to air their music and provide a community radio station with participation from community organizations and local businesses. We want to reach out to local artists, schools, organizations and individuals who would like an outlet for their performances or announcement of their events and shows.
We also broadcast live events and regular weekly live and recorded shows featuring performances and interviews with some of the areas musicians and artists.

This app not only plays the WCHQ Crescent Hill Radio live broadcast (24/7), but also includes WCHQ's Twitter and Facebook feed and provides a list of the past 10 tracks complete with album art. Select a track and you have the options of creating a post on Facebook and Twitter about the artist, as well as seeing any YouTube videos the artist may have available. Click the information button, and if available, a biography of the artist/band appears complete with an event schedule. All this info is provided by last.fm. There's even a sleep timer, so you can fall asleep with all local music and programming.
