Ventoo is a GPS cycle computer for your Pebble smart watch. It uses your phone's GPS to send speed, distance and altitude data to your Pebble. You can also see your track directly on your Pebble.
If you got a Bluetooth LE (4.0) Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) or Cycling Speed and Cadence (CSC), you can also display your heart rate and your cadence on your Pebble. Please note it does not work with "classic" bluetooth.
Ventoo also has an innovative auto start feature which will auto start the bike computer on your watch when it detects you are riding a bike, using low battery technology Ventoo checks your activity every 30 seconds, so low power in fact you can leave this switched on all day.
Ventoo has a Live Tracking function that sends your position every 30 seconds to the internet. If you're using it with your friends, it can receive theirs positions and display them with your own track, directly on your Pebble.
First time you use Ventoo you will need to install the watch face for your Pebble. Just click on the "Install button" in the settings.

I really like this simple means of tracking my rides. Just bring up the app on my Pebble! Only issue is that the autostart is ALWAYS turning this on, even when I'm not cycling. So I had to disable that. I would love if they partnered with Ride with GPS! The two make a powerful combination.

I've been using it for couple of days riding. Functionally works fine, I did love precision of movement detection. It might crash on Pebble when launched from the phone but I believe it's hard to debug this issue.

I uninstalled it for a while, then just recently got back into it. It now has a bug where I need to have my phone screen on for it to work. Whenever I turn the screen off, the app stops working on my pebble.

There is no miles or MPH. Major let down. Although the map tracking seem to be a big plus. Might have got a 5 otherwise cuz I do not know kilometers like most everyone in the states.

Good app but still can not find how to export gpx file. Every time i try i have got a message "This operation is not supported". Disappointed.

Ventoo has come a very long way from its humble beginnings. I really like the new interface and customisable watchapp. I'm not sure why it says "GPS started" after I reboot though... Also, a Lollipop-compatible icon would be nice =) Cheers

Work well with GPS and OruxMaps upto GPS limitations. The only thing it is missing is Bluetooth Smart cadance and speed senor support. That would make the app perfect. Particularly if there was a way to disable GPS and just use the sensor.

Brings my heart rate to the pebble a must for cycling or running. This is the only app I have found that does this reliably. Easy to flick screens even while running around.

I used three apps to track my last short hike. Two matched! This one over measured everything! Not useful but cool as hell in theory if it was more accurate

But never works first time when I load it from watch. Locks up phone. I use task manager to clear it and then works fine.

It's not just a bike speedometer, it works everywhere. I've had it showing >1100km/hr in a plane. Doesn't work to good mountainbiking in a dense forest but that is the gps s fault, not the apps!
