About NDSII Lite

The NDSII Lite provides basic diagnostics for N i s s a n and I n f i n i t i cars. It is intended for newer cars that have a 16 pin OBDII connector and use Consult II protocol over k-line (DDL2). Those are usually cars build between years 2001 and 2007. The connector is typically located near the fuse box.

This application supports both, petrol and diesel cars. It communicates with the engine ECU using Consult II protocol. It uses the same communication protocol as the dealer diagnostic tool. This protocol is far more comprehensive than the generic OBDII or ISO9141 protocol.

The current version of the app has following functions:
• Data Display with data logging
• Self Diagnostics
• Work Support with Clear Self Learn and Idle Air Volume Learn functions
• Dash Display with customisable gauges - saving colour changes is disabled in Lite version
• Video Recorder – video recording is disabled in Lite version

The video recorder function saves an mp4 video file with accompanying data log file. Overlay software such as RaceRender can then be used to generate videos with custom data visualization. Video recording is disabled in Lite version.

A Bluetooth diagnostic adapter is required to connect to the car. This app is design to work with adapters build on the popular ELM327 chip. They are very well priced and available from many Internet suppliers or eBay. For a list of tested adapters please visit our website.

NOTE: There are a number of adapters from China with fake ELM327 v2.1 chip. Those adapters do not have all required commands and are not supported. Look for adapters with v1.5 or v1.4 chip.

If you would like an application with full functionality and without advertising please purchase the full version also available from Google Play store.

Awesome! My 2005 pathfinder had the idle issue after cleaning the throttle body and doing the manual pedal depress and on/off ignition method did not work. I was about to take to the dealer so they can do it for me at a price between $130 to $200. t had a bluetooth OBO adpator around and gave this app a try. It connected right up went to the idle clear and idle relearn section and tap tap tap. Car is idling at 650 rpm from the 1200 rpm originally. Thank you buddy.

I was getting the infamous P0507 (high idle) error on my 350z after installing a Kinetix V+ plenum and cleaning the throttle body while I was at it. I had done the pedal dance several times and had success but it wasn't sticking after a restart. I eventually stumbled across this app after a few hours of Googling the issue and seeing people mentioning NDS2. I plugged in my cheap bluetooth OBD2 adapter (shows as CHX when pairing) and had no problems connecting to my adapter. I let my car idle until the temp gauge looked to be at operating temp, cleared self learn to be safe, then hit 'idle air volume learn' and it immediately dropped my RPMs. So much so I thought it was going to stall but I gave it a minute to sort itself and everything was fixed and I cleared the error code! My Z runs great again and after a half dozen restarts I haven't seen the error again!!!

Cleaned the throttle body on my 2005 Nissan Xterra and the idle went way up and threw a check engine light for fast idle (around 1500 rpm) dealer wanted $80 to reset this! A little quirky, and took about three tries to connect, but idle instantly dropped to around 600-630rpm (where it should be) after doing the idle learn. Great tool! Thanks!

After multiple attempts with 2 different obd2 scanners I was able to get this to work on my 2007 Nissan Murano. Both scanners worked with torque but I could only get 1 of them to work with this software. I initially tried ndsIII because I have a 07 but it didnt work. It took a few back to back tries at connecting but I finally it to connect with Foseal Car OBD2 OBD 2 OBDII Bluetooth Diagnostic Scan Tool Check Engine Light for Android & Windows System Torque Pro which I purchased off amazon. Cleared the self learn and was able to perform the idle relearn successfully. Thanks!

Connected flawlessly to my '05 Altima and could read all the data. OBDDoctor and Torque have been disappointing in the past since they couldn't read the sensors completely. But this app can do far more than those. Lite version keeps demanding an active internet connection to load all the ads and stuff. Getting the full version now. This app is definitely a keeper!

Bought the full android version as thought it would provide more details for my Nissan Primera 2.2dci 2002. Unfortunately it only showed the NATS faults which it also would not clear, a bad investment from my point of view. It clearly states that it would work on this vehicle but ECM connection fails

Works pretty well on my V41 Quest paired with a OBDLink MX. It does like to crash from time to time, and I know the Dev needs $$, but the advertising is way too intrusive. Could be faster, could be more reliable, but for the price, it'll get you farther then Torque Pro will get you on a Consult I/II hybrid era Nissan product.

Used it with a fairly priced ELM327 Adapter from ebay on my Nissan Ad van 2007 model, connected all parameters showing ok but keeps disconnecting. I had tried torque which never connected with the ecm, please correct this fault then i will give it a 5!
