About NDSIII
The NDSIII provides basic diagnostics for N i s s a n and I n f i n i t i cars. It is intended for newer cars that have a 16-pin OBDII connecter and use Consult III protocol over CAN. Those are usually cars build between years 2007 and now. The connector is typically located near the fuse box.
This application supports both, petrol and diesel cars. It communicates with the engine ECU using Consult III protocol. It uses the same communication protocol as the dealer diagnostic tool. This protocol is far more comprehensive than the generic ISO15765 protocol.
The current version of the app has following functions:
• Data Display with data logging
• Self Diagnostics
• Work Support with Clear Self Learn, Idle Air Volume Learn, Exhaust Valve T/C Learn and M/T Neutral Position Learn functions
• Dash Display with customisable gauges
• Video Recorder
The video recorder function saves an mp4 video file with accompanying data log file. Overlay software such as RaceRender can then be used to generate videos with custom data visualization.
A Bluetooth diagnostic adapter is required to connect to the car. This app is design to work with adapters build on the popular ELM327 chip. They are very well priced and available from many Internet suppliers or eBay. For a list of tested adapters please visit our website.
NOTE: There are a number of adaptors from China with fake ELM327 v2.1 chip. Those adaptors do not have all required commands and are not supported. Look for adaptors with v1.5 or v1.4 chip.

Great program with potential. Works with no issues on my 2011 G37 with MX adapter. Is the author going to continue provide updates to this program to add more features? Since this program uses the actual consult III protocol many features can be added to this program in later versions.

Works with the bluetooth Adapter from Jaycar Australia for my 07 V36 skyline (G35). I also have a cheap ebay bluetooth adapter that doesn't work. Feature request: would you please add transmission temperature!

Everything else works on this app. Connection is fast data logging is seamless and all the parameters I'd ever need. Five stars if you have an idea why the idle air volume relearn doesn't work. Always returns "failed..." I tried it on my wife's Infiniti, too. Same results. Using genuine elm 327 1.5v. Will try with a hard cable to see if it works.

This app is awesome if you have a 2007+ Nissan. It shows parameters that no other OBDII app can even come close to. I had the toughest time getting my 2007 350z to attempt an idle relearn procedure by doing the manual pedal procedure. This app does it at the touch of a button. Those of you having trouble just need to invest in a decent OBDII Bluetooth device. I tried the cheap ebay ones and they simply don't work. The one that did work for me was the BAFX device from amazon; its cheap, has great reviews, and worked awesome with this app.

Program is great, can read all sorts of data including engine oil temp etc. Please keep developing this app to include ABS module activation would be great to help bleed brakes. Thank you for updating to include exhaust valve calibration!

This doesn't connect with any of my nissans. 08 altima coupe 3.5 or my 09 maxima. My adapter connect with every other app so that's not the problem. This app is useless.

For me it was worth the money just for the idle air volume learn function! But the data logging features are very good too, especially if the standard ODB interface on your car is slow like on mine. Better documentation would be nice but it's not too hard to figure everything out.

this app works with nissan/infiniti cars in the middle east which are not obd2 compatible
