TRUE MANAGER™ AIR for Android
Bad choice for default pdf filename. How about at least tagging with date? Should be able to cancel out of searching for meters. Finding how to export log was very annoying. And I haven't even tried syncing with a meter yet as just previewing for elderly mother.
Worked okay with my old phone, an LG G3 (which was 3 generations old). Not great, just okay. The reports and overall UI design were pretty "meh". However, my new Galaxy s7 gets no love at all from Trividia Health. Nor does anything running Nougat, from what I understand. So, now I have this health-plan-provided meter which touts Bluetooth connectivity but doesn't bother supporting any of the current generation devices. There are however, other paid apps which can act as a middle-man of sorts to get the info off of the meter. I guess I'll have to start using one of those. Great potential utterly let down by a lack of support. Such a resounding disappointment.
I lost my first meter that worked fine, so I had to purchase another one. The second one will didn't work. It will not connect. I was very impressed with the first one, but now feel like it's a waste.
Simple, easy to use. Would like more features such as tags for what meal, how many units of insulin. Bit over all, I got the meter free from publix and I'm happy with app
Having trouble....it downloads the wrong amounts. For example I checked my glucose and it was 74 but when I synced with my phone it said it was 98. Anybody have any ideas why it does this?
Connects through blutooth great with my LG tablet. But not with my LG V10 phone. It says not compatible with phone when I tried to download. It would have 5 star if it was compatible with my phone!
Works great, keep asking for a pin but I read the book and figured out I needed to use the last four digits of the SN number, been using now for about 3 months, only wish it has the capability to manulyadd blood prussure.
THIS IS THE RESPONSE I RECEIVED TO "The serial number does not link True Metrix Air to Samsung Note 3. Suggestions besides new phone, please." "The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- (reason: 554 5.4.14 Hop count exceeded - possible mail loop ATTR34)" So much for support
Could not get bluetooth to connect with my Galaxy Note 4. Also, when I open Comcast Email and open a photo, the True Manager boots up and the photo won't open. I have no idea why. I'm deleting the app.
Will not connect to device. 9 month of having the meter. I was able to get it to connect once 7 months ago.
It doesnt pair with my Galaxy 5
Meter wouldn't connect, shows visible, bluetooth enabled on both, just won't pair. Would rate zero for a complete fail
I like. Works like it should. Read the manual . Perfect for Dr visits.
I really needed an app but it won't connect :(
Could not pair.Sucks!!!
I tried 3 times to download it. But, after I have tried to sync it 3 times. N trying to put the information. It won't let u do nothing at all. The Tech people has called me n I told them about this App.
App not supported by Samsung S7 Edge phone. From the looks of it, most newer phones of 2016 will not support this app. This app needs updating to support newer phones, including Samsung S7/S7 Edge.
Worked fine with first meter but my son lost it. I bought another one and it won't pair. I called the company and they said they would have someone from tech support. We'll she called. I told her the problem, she actually told me that my tablet was not compatible with the app. How is it not compatible when I had no problem with the first one. I'm tired of true metrix. I NEED a Bluetooth meter because I have to send the readings every week. My son has been in the hospital twice last month. I have enough to worry about then spending time fighting with this meter. I will tell the doctor should start writing scripts for a different meter. I'll make sure I share your impressive score of 2.7. More 1 and 2 star ratings then 5,4,and 3 stars. I should have read this before I bought another one.
My husband is the diabetic with the Samsung S7. That phone's been out a long time and you still haven't updated your app.
I will never use this app! Trying to change as we speak!
No exit for data, no api
App has flawless sync with meter. App doesn't have any functionality, but a testing log. I am hoping in the future it will allow min/max/averages for times of day and averages for groupings listed on the meter like before eating/after eating, sick, etc. Also daily avg, weekly avg, longer peiond of time monthly or 90 days. Currently, the meter has more functionality than the app.
I went to a lot of trouble to be able to have the True Metrix Air glucose meter! Believing that with Bluetooth and this app I'd be able to keep track of my numbers better without causing my poor arthritic hands extra stress. Too bad this app is useless! It barely gets the numbers. It won't let me set my goal numbers and doesn't seem to have any thing else to offer! Wow what a waste of time, effort and data!
Works very well. I don't know why the bad recomendations. Mine works the way its suppose to. It is only to log your sugar levels that is all. You all need to look at book for directions. My goodness you have to actually read and use your brain! What a novelty. Your not suppose to adjust ranges???? Can't believe that was a complaint. Sometimes you all are either ignorant or just plain dumb. Correct pin info last six numbers on back of meter.
Must say, it is miss leading on the True Metrix Air packaging to state that to download the app from the Google play, and the only phone that it is compatible with is the Samsung Galaxy S5 with is an old phone, I talked to Tech support and someone was suppose to call me back, but that never happened. So I made one of my phone look like an S5 to Google Play and downloaded the app. I have it working on an HTC EVO 4G LTE, HTC One (M7), and HTC One M9. Like others here I have not been able to get the Share feature working. I get a message, create logbook pdf, that blinks so quickly almost didn't notice it. If you are going to put the Meter out and say you can download the app True Google Play, you should at least have the app available for at least a couple of the phone people are using. Come on S5, my six year old grandson uses an S5. I am giving it a 1 Star because of the lack of support and no customer follow-up to a call. I now have the app on my e-mail, so I can use it on any other phones that I need.
Tried to sync download app from Google play store as they stared and it keeps asking for a pin stated use 0000 or 1234, neither works, tech support said try to Uninstaller and reinstall stall did so still not working. NOT HAPPY!if you are going to force us to switch monitors needlessly and then do not have the correct information available I would say someone in device support needs to learn the business before sending out this device.my phone is a Samsung S7 EDGE, state of the art, not 2 months old. ????
Just a basic log. No charts, averages or editing. Syncs well. Need more options.
Doesn't do much beside record bg level and time. Share doesn't work.
Connects and records results quickly. However I REALLY NEED TO SHARE THE RESULTS of my daughter's levels with TWIUTK. Fix that and you will get a 5*
Quickly transfers data from meter and adds to a log. That's it. This app needs additional functionality. Share doesn't work.
There is no connection or functionality.
Pairs easy and syncs well. Adding averaging and graphing capabilities to the app would make it worth more stars.
I tried 3 times to download it. But, after I have tried to sync it 3 times. N trying to put the information. It won't let u do nothing at all. The Tech people has called me n I told them about this App.
Was reading app was asking for pin so I was looking on the meter for a pin number, then all the sudden app said was trying to pair with meter yet I haven't put in a pin number yet. Uninstalled app tried again same Crap again Grrrrrrrr Uninstalled good bye can live with out it.
Utter nonsense
Paired it fairly easily, it's quick & neat in that aspect. But stinks in every other one. Can't adjust ranges and can't share your #s. I have been using a free app that allows all of this (plus has a very neat visual line graph of all your entry's so you can visually see your spikes!) I will continue to use that one, even if I have to manually enter my numbers. This app has lots of potential- just needs a lot of work!

No problem making it work with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Syncs quickly and easy. Able to email reports to myself and print them out to show the doc too. I just wish there was a way to manually enter data for the times I end up using a different meter without the Bluetooth ability. (update : there is a way, you have to go into the logbook and hit the + button. Worked perfectly.
