9GAG: Funny Gifs, Pics, Memes & Videos :)

After years of not having the app on my phone and just looking at 9gag through my computer, the app is a very nice change of pace. The graphical options, such as night mode, are also great additions. Though expect to see things that you just plainly dont care about, especially on the trending and hot pages. But in the general scope, its a damn great platform with a damn great community. Well, sometimes. With regard to the community at least. Which can indeed be filled with simpletons. Occasionally.

Loved this app until they decided to add a banner ad on the bottom of the screen. Will probably uninstall very soon if its not removed. There were already a ton of adds between posts, which was just barely acceptable, but thats just to much.

DO NOT come to this place if you're expecting a healthy community for the age above 17. This place is a masturbatory circlejerk of lonely socially awkward 14 yo preferably white kids with some narcissism mindset. The memes are 90% recycled from other sites, or their own memes 7 years ago. Not a decent place to spend your time overall Also the ad is unbearable, show just how greedy the company is.

Can you guys please extend the maximum amount of notifications that are stored in the News page? I get lots of notifications and loads of times they get pushed out and thus i can't answer to mentions or replies. I don't even understand why you have to limit it anyway

The was GREAT when it first came out. Now it's nothing but advertisement. I was fine with it between pics, but the bar at the bottom is NOT ok. Will be removing and leaving the community if this is the new direction of the website. I understand everyone is greedy and wants money, but seriously, enough is enough.

I only give three stars cause i noticed you removed the one of the best feature: being able to scroll left and right when you select a certain post... Instead, i need to scroll all the way up and down... It's not good...

First, you moved the "New" section from a convenient button at the bottom to within a different menu. Now you've gone and put a banner ad at the bottom. That's it, I'm going to reddit. Maybe I'll come back if the ad is gone when I check back in a few months.

I love it!! It makes me laugh but also there are sections for current events, horror, and more serious sections as well! I use it as im falling asleep at night :)×9

Has one of the crappiest video player on the planet! A 30-second video takes forever to load, like seriously? Also, if we want to save GIFs, let us save it as GIF and not a god-damned video!

Since the last update, banner ads have become really annoying. Please fix this and I will rate it 5 star again.

I love 9 gag, the below average rating is so that a long standing bug may be fixed. After 10-15 swipes down the content just stops to load! Its been happening since months.

Ads are too intrusive on the new version. They constantly take up space on the lower part of the screen and are an annoying distraction. Switching to browser and adblocker alternative for browsing your site until you change your ad policy on the main page.

I don't know where to begin. First the ads in between posts then add Banners at the bottom of the screen sure I mean you got to make money somehow but that's just too much. Yhe higher they rise the further they fall and boy have you fallen

You stupid idiot you made it worst, I regret updating it, there are no way to access my upvote and upvote are suppose to be defaultly public, it seem like the people that updated this app never actually use this app

Absolute disaster after last update! Top keeps dissappearing (hot, fresh, trending section) when I exit to home screen and then reopen the app. Plus that AD at the bottom!

Went from 5 star to 1. Last update shows 9gag is getting greedy. I think I will uninstall is after some time

Please remove the adds at the bottom of the app. I know you put it there on purpose so we would accidently click on it. Rating it at 2 stars because you guys are trying to be shady...

The ad at the bottom of the screen gives me seizures when it's a flashing one. Try to look at a gif and you have this obnoxious ad flashing under it. Not cool. Ruined the whole app for me.

Reaaally slow guys... It takes forever to load gifs.. Not to mention the ads that have become most annoying. Come on you can do better than this..

They keep messing with the ux/ui desig. Design simething and stick to it. Don't keep awitching out between 3 interfaces.

Its good but they hv updates and changes too soon, i know if it's bcs they want the best for user and i appreciated that, but it look inconsistent. But really it's a good app beside the content, just there is a minus with this newest configuration is when we switched from home to a category and get back to home its get refreshed, and cant resume my scroll before

It Was one of the best apps ever. But how time goes by, its worstier, tereblier lazyer, yutube and stuff belongs not here, and its soooooo sloooww. Slowest app whitch hawe world wide web ever seen. Or is it problem in web providers? Do they breaking your server speed? Is it server botelnecking? Who should i blame? I dont wanna deinstall 9 gag. Posts are intresting, but its real pain in the ass waiting to load them. While everything flys on my 120 Megabit network..... :-(

I am going to delete this app if the bottom flashing add doesnt get removed. Its is destracting as hell. 10/10 stupid idea.

This app WAS the best to go on while on the toilet but now with its new update.... I can no longer enjoy sitting on the toilet...

New update has permanent banner ad, which is terrible, distracting, and ugly. Obviously no longer a community, just out to line their pockets. Deleted.

why the f does it have ads at the bottom of the screen now? first time I used this app there were little to no ads at all.. then they added ads between posts.. and now permanent ad at the bottom? this deserves a ZERO star

Edit: went from 5stars to 1 The new update sucks,those adds between post were enough, no need for a sticky one on the bottom. It's just too distracting!! And the categories from top should dissapear when you made your choice, it's taking so much space..

The app doesn't remember my position anymore. Whenever I leave the app, and come back to it, the first post is being loaded and it's a real pain to scroll down to the last post I saw. This is sad, very sad.

Latest version downgraded overall experience by bombarding with advertisements. Ads at the bottom makes it impossible to use app at night.

Crashing like an ass every time I launch a Video (from video section) - android kitkat

From 5 to 1 because of the sticky add, on the buttom of the page...terrible. Don't update the app...should have read the comments...

The app freezes from time to time and when I go back into the app it will bring me back to the posts that I have seen the last time I used it.

But now it's so slooooow, I don't know if its my phone's fault or updates but I can't stand so much slowness

The only thing that bothers me is when you view an image, the comments pop on top of it. Plus app crashes here and there
