Guitar Jam Tracks: Free

This app is simple but very good. It appears to be 12 bar blues guitar perfectly tuned with what seems to be perfect timing and excellent timing with nice turnarounds .. my guitar a nylon today played nicely with it practiced many blues riffs in all kind of permutations modern and old school. You could play this on piano as a practice jam.. I teach music going to get my students to download it and share with other musicians. Fairly short download.

I love it, I can jam all day and just chill without another person. I wish tempo could change maybe different beats or something but by far number 1!!!

You should allow for lowering and raising the tempo on the tracks and also add a few more tracks for free yes I said for free it would make it easier for me to spend 5 bucks on your app if it did more for me and kept me more interested but for right now I'm interested but as I get better I'm going to want more content or I'm going to want to use your app to customize my playing ability, thanks for listening Jake

I agree with others on this being the same simple progression over and over with no tempo adjustment. Having a minor and major progression choice is nice, but how about some variety, like a stormy monday variation etc.? In the digital age changing tempo yet maintaining pitch is not difficult. This changes pitch and maintains tempo when the opposite is desirable to. The full version at a buck a song is to high priced when there are many other apps out there for free. Improve this and get five stars.

Bought a new Samsung Note 10.1, same as old one which failed. Now cannot reinstall the upgraded paid for version or the additional styles I purchased. Worked well before, was very happy with it but seems to have issues when you upgrade or have paid for styles. Now I am out of pocket...no app no styles no money. :(

I have just been billed $5.11 for the "pro" upgrade. I don't have it though. It passed the download phase but wouldn't install. I received an immediate refund so I tried a second time using a different internet connection; same problem but this time no refund. The ap is a great idea so I'd rather have it installed than a refund please.

Woulda given it 5 stars if the tempo can be adjusted, and customise the chord progression. Though I am rather crap at guitar anyways. Great little app.

Tabs are a little vague in regards to scales and fret notation, but it gives you the root note for each cord so you have a jump off point for lead

Great idea but the lack of content is silly. It wou1d be so easy to add content. The free version only has 1 track. Im not going for the paid as its only a couple more. They are competing with youtubes thousands of tracks for free.

Would have given one more star if it actually had a chord chart instead of just saying what the chords are. I have to keep referring back to a separate pocket chord app.

Great way to learn the different positions of the scales! I recommend this app. Only downfall is the limited number of tracks... Even with pro... but it's still fun!

Okay, so I read some other reviews and many say this app is limited. And I agree that it has mondaine tracks to accompany the more accomplished guitarist. But this is good for the beginning to intermediate as it keeps one focused on the more basic principles of playing. Gotta crawl before you walk

Jam tracks in all keys. And also shows scales in that key while jamming. Truly one of my favorite apps. Highly recommend.

This has got to be one (if not the) best app of this type.

Cool patterns! Very usefull for improving melodic riffs also jazz riffs. You can even use it as a cool background music while dining. If you feel the lack in the grooves, then upgrade. Keep in mind this is an acoustic not electric.

Recently, i try this apps. So far, i really like it bcoz i learn a lot tru jam track n pentatonic scale r so helpful. Tumb up.

Sound quality is shite. Options are useless.

Must have it. Its nice and easy to use for guitar enthusiast who wants to learn as it helps in putting some lights upon basics. But I still think there should be some progression and tempo adjustment.

The only problem that it is limited to some styles.I would like see more styles like metal and country.

Favorite musical app by far. Would be nice if there were added Sharps and flats and the ability to change tempos too. But this is the best I've found for me.

Real recorded loops sound good bit the fun of jamming with them wears fast and it gets boring due to (very)basic functionality. The paid version promises to add styles but not what the app really needs and sorely misses: tempo settings, user-defined chord progressions and, ideally, recording. All these are technically straight-forward and a must for the Pro version.

Came across this & I kind of like it it's cool

Self taught I have only been playing about 6 months .. I have been e everywhere downloading everything I can.. This is exactly what I have been looking for.. Every scale I want and the jam tacks ..!!! Wow..!! Thank you.. Marty Schwartz on utube is the best I've found for ease of understanding.. He is the best out there if anyone is interested...!!

I never played blues until this. Its a shame the expansion pack costs... I will buy it when I see more styles in there :)

I use this app to practice scales and solo's.

The progression is quite boring,no variety. Hard to harness creativity. Good for beginners though. Will look forward for some improvements then ill give a high five!
