Sky Dialer for Skype

The quick favorites list is very nice, but the app is missing what I downloaded it for and what I need. A dedicated Skype dialer. I find it typical of Microsoft to totally miss the obvious on a calling app. Which is a dedicated icon that opens the Skype dialer. Instead you have to go through a convoluted series of steps to find and open the dialer. I thought, hoped that this app would provide that dialer. I'll keep the app for now but that dialer would be really nice. As a side note to the maker of this app, I gave 4 stars, reason? The app says dialer for Skype, which is what I was looking for, not a speed dialer but a dialer/pad. This confusion my be in part why others are not giving the app 5 stars. Please add a dedicated dialing pad with a speed dial menu in it.

I mainly use Skype for Skype to Phone calls while traveling internationally. But Skype won't let me call just any number in my contacts. No, I can look up that contract from Skype, but then I have to copy it into Skype's own phone book. This app eliminates the need to create and maintain all those redundant contacts.

Awesome idea, I loved it for a while, and then Skype got upgraded and now it doesn't work any more... I would give 5 stars otherwise so please fix Edit: I manually downgraded Skype to version 7 and now this app is working again

The first time I installed the app it worked perfectly until the first Skype update then it stopped working. I removed both the app and Skype from my phone and did a reinstall it then work until the latest Skype update. After the latest Skype update it absolutely refuse to work again despite a complete removal and re-installation.

I would love it if it actually dialed. I love that it imports my contacts from my phone, allows me to mark favorites, and then I press call and all it does is open the Skype app. Nothing happens. There seems to be a disconnect. I gave two stars because the app seems designed well otherwise, but doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

Does not import all contacts from android contacts app. Seems to skip contacts that have been imported to android contacts from other apps, e.g. google. A serious limitation on functionality.

On a Web page, if I click a phone number, would be nice if this would pop up.

Overall a nice app. Integrates cell contacts nicely with no issue's at time of this review.

Couldn't figure out a way to make skype shortcuts, and I use skype for my main calls. This was exactly what i needed thank you :)

This is nothing but contacts folder... why i need to install it when i have in built contacts folder.... and few others are saying here it works great ... i mean wat?????
