1.Select mp3/music from your mobile or from Recordings.
2.Select area to be chopped from your audio.
3.Save as Ringtone/Music/Alarm/Notification.

- An Inverted Red Triangle to Select and Edit Mp3/Music from your Mobile/SD.

- View a scrollable waveform representation of the audio file at 4 zoom levels.
- Set start & end for the audio clip, using an optional touch interface.
- Tap anywhere on the wave & the built-in Music player starts playing at that position.

After you create the ringtone, there is a choice to assign it to your contact. If you choose this option, the MP3 Cutter & Ringtone Maker need to read your contact data and show them in the list, then you can assign the new ringtone to somebody.
MP3 Cutter & Ringtone Maker will not collect your contact information.

After you save a new Ringtone, the APP need rights to write it to your SD card.
Tips:
Copy audio files to your SD card using a USB cable, or get MP3s using the Amazon MP3 application.
Tap anywhere on the waveform to start playing at that position.
While playing, tap the word Start or End to quickly set the start and end markers to the current playback time.
Use the jog wheel for more precise adjustments.
Press copy menu while editing files, then you can paste it to current file, or any other files of same type.
Music in clipboard will be paste to adjacency of end markers.
If bitrate is not match, you can also paste together, but the new waveform looks weird. That’s doesn’t affect the sound quality of new music file.

This is an easy to do make your own ringtone. Slide the bars one at a time to where you want. Save. It even gives you the option of how you want to use it right there in the program!

Geez, stupidity really drives me CRAZY!! Alexander Badaliance you should think before you type!! This app requires roughly 5 permissions & if you were bright enough you'd put 2 & 2 together! HELLO; Contact info (for assigned ringtones), media/photo/file info (scan library for music tones) etc. Need I say more!!??!!

I've had this app for quite a long time and although I do love it and would have given 5 stars, it has changed recently. There are too many ads now, but you can skip them after a few seconds. I used to get about 5 songs in a row before getting the ads, but now it is after every download... Bummer... But, I will still use it.

I love this app because I am able to choose any of my songs and cut to any piece of them to make a ringtone! The only downside is that sometimes all of my music doesn't show up on the list. But it's really well worth the time to download.

Cool app. It reallly is worth installing and occupies a tiny bite of your card space. Easy to use. Cut your favorite portion of music and save it .... No problems encountered . saves cut files on your sd card in folder media... It goes like media -> audio -> ringtones and there is your ringtone in folder 'ringtones'.

There is no TROIAN VIRUS built into this app. According to ALEXANDER, why would an app designed to create ringtones need permission to integrate with your phone app, other than to drop a TROJAN on you?! Plain and simple, Alexander Badaliance is full of crap. No Trojan. No virus. Very, very, VERY obvious he doesn't know anything about those two words he threw out there. First clue? Claiming the presence of Trojans and viruses without specifying which well regarded security tools he used to obtain this "information". People like that really don't see how immediately and completely transparent they are to their technical superiors. So I'll let you what, future visitors: despite our hero Alexander Badaliance having swooped in to save us all from evil (and nonexistent) "Trojans and viruses" (and lions and tigers and bears, oh my) before talking off again to continue flying around the internet saving others from those very same nonexistent threats (BIG INHALE), I suggest you not listen to him, me or anybody, but rather go ahead and install a free, trusted, Android app that checks for THOSE VERY THINGS. Then do a virus scan for yourself. No, it's ok, go ahead, I'll wait. . . . all done? Ok, now have a little chuckle. I don't want to wait again, so just a little one. Kay. Reassured? Great!
