About Nissan Leaf Range Estimator

Nissan Leaf Range Estimator helps discover the effect different factors have on your Nissan Leaf range.
The app uses (with permission) the Leaf Range Chart by Tony Williams, www.LoveMyLEAF.com .

The latest version adds new functions - send me an e-mail if you prefer the older (and simpler) version and I will branch it out in a separate app.
It needs internet and location for fetching route and elevation data.

Needs to be updated to include the 30kw battery... Only supports 24kw Leaf.

No ability to employ 30kwh Leaf.

Great idea and seems sound in principle but it's showing its age a bit. Evidently assumes 24kWh vehicle with no option to switch to 30kWh and interface design a long way off modern 'Material' guidelines!

should allow me to share google maps Route instead of the random flags on posts.... This could be a big deal app if sharpened up

I really like this app. I'm a new owner with range anxiety. This helps alleviate those worries. The mapping feature is great for seeing my elevation needs. I also like the bar, temp and mph options.I just wonder as my battery loses capacity, how to use the app. It seems to only account for 15% degredation (which is one bar). Can it be updated to have more degradation options?

Can't clear any points on map

Doesn't shows Preferences menu on Samsung Galaxy S5.

Because the Galaxy does not have a menu button, there is no way to reset the app. Once you put in a start and end point, it is there forever. Any touches to the screen just adds a waypoint. Not very useful.

Still a great app after all these years

This is a pretty neat app. I love that I can map my route and it'll calculate the elevation changes and even show me a graph of elevation. Suggestions for the developer: * Several times I've accidentally added an extra point on the map, and the only way I could remove it was to clear all the points and start over. It would be nice if there was a way to remove a waypoint. * It's not clear whether climate control is enabled or not in these estimates. It'd be nice to tell it whether or not I'll be using climate control (or the percentage of time that I plan to use it). * It would also be nice to be able to specify whether I drive in ECO or D mode and see the differences that might come out of that.

The PDF range chart is an excellent reference, but it was in much need of being turned into an app. Integrating OpenWings into this would make for an epic app.
