Latin Learner for Android
yes, you have to already know latin, but the app never claims that it will singlehandedly teach you latin. it's helpful, if a little bit clumsy to use. the interface could use some work. essentially just a bunch of fill in the blank exercises.
Ignore the negative reviews. They should focus on learning English so they can read what this app is and not judge it based on what they thought it was supposed to be. This is an awesome companion to Wheelock's Latin, and since it is free with no ads, any complaints should be dismissed as user ignorance/entitledness.
This is exactly the app I hoped it would be. Perfect for practicing and revising! Thank you!
As advertised, this is a companion to Wheelock's Latin book. The app is a nice way to check your comprehension after reading each chapter in the textbook. The dictionary is a nice addition too.
This is simply great for intermediate levels. The best latin app for sure. Next step might be audio help for pronounciation.
It's very useful to help learn and study for any Latin class
Chapters match the Wheelock book.
Useful
Excellent app, thanks!

I had no idea anything in Latin, but once you use your common sense and see that most words are like languages like Spanish, French or English. It's pretty easy. I LOVED the way you could have little quizzes and it just made everything so great. I'm not one to care about presentation, so what if it's a little ruff. The contents make up for it. I'd give the guy who made this props
You will have to already know Latin in order to use this app. This is more for review of lessons already learned. Not for beginners at all.
This app is for those with true learning skills that will take the responsibility to notice and study the dictionary included in the application, and then use the practice lessons and chapters to immerse themselve in the language.
You have to already know Latin for this to be of any use, no auditory aid not much help at all
This is exactly the app I hoped it would be. Perfect for practicing and revising! Thank you!
It's not called Latin Teacher. This app is a great companion for anyone looking for variety in their studies. 5 stars all the way.
I've had 4 years of latin and this is a great way to keep up with it
In the vocabulary practice, chapter 8, disco, discere, didici is translated as to teach, instead of to learn.
Well designed to be used alongside coursework
If you're to novice to Latin then this app is a great was to learn.
This is a perfect app for learning Latin. It's just that some people learn the declensions in a different way as some people learn them like this app: Nom, Gen, Dat, Acc, Abl while some people learn them with the Vocative case and some people also learn it like this: Nom, Voc, Acc, Gen, Dat, Abl etc. So it'll be an amazing upgrade for this app to have a button in which you select the orders of what you want and add or delete the Voc case, like you press the cases in the order you want them to be in.
It's very helpful to beginners like me . I'm in the University and I'd recommend this app to my friends without a second Thought!
This app doesn't teach you Latin, it's more like flash cards for practicing what you already learned somewhere else.
