Best Before is designed to save you food and money.
An average family of four currently tosses out an estimated $590 (£373) of wasted food per year! (UA Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology). Not only that, it has serious environmental implications too!
Best Before is an application designed to track when your food goes off and to alert you before this happens so you can use it before it's too late. Using your smartphone's camera it is possible to scan the barcode of a product and add it to a list of food you have. Keep track of what's in your fridge, cupboard or anywhere else!

Cannot remove (delete) the item?? If the Item was set to "no useby", cannot be changed back. Days for the removal 7, expired 30 days ago, but still on the list. Phone LG Fino D-295

We use this app every day to track things in the frig and in the freezer. My one HUGE request is I wish it could sync between devices. Sometimes someone's at the the store alone and doesn't know what might be needed to go with what's in the freezer or frig ... PLEASE add the ability to sync! Please please please!

... doesn't work because, here in the UK, most barcodes on products are not identified. So, it's necessary to manually enter product information. Pen and paper is quicker - and free!
