Fora Dictionary

Simple and easy to use without net connections

I love this application. And is one of most useful app of mine. But because of not supporting multiwindow function i always must swich applications when i read something in different language. Please add this funtion as soon as possible

You need to install english dictionary package for fora using playstore.

Handy and easy to use.

I bought this app because it integrates with Moon+ Reader to look up words directly from the text I am reading . My previous review of Fora Dictionary was less than complementary as it didn't seem capable of defining any words without going online. I did not understand that within the app under the "Manage" setting that I needed to download and install a completely separate dictionary file. 30+ MB later (that's a lot of words) this dictionary works as expected.

unbeatable, The only dictionary I've used since I started using android device. But there's one problem I would be happy if you can solve it for me... If we could get wireless update of our books database... Specially the WorldFact.

It doesn't display the meanings any more.

It used to be my favorite dictionary, but now it is a total mess. I create separate profiles for different languages, but after I close the program all changes are lost. I open the dictionary again with only default profile in place. Setup screen is not user-friendly at all. I have to type path and font names manually! They should be made as lists boxes.

Most of the times instead of my home screen just a blank screen loads on startup. I can't search anything then. I have 8 dics.

Ele nos engana, fazendo crer k podemos descarregar n dicionarios. Mentira. Limita-se a 5. Isso nao é mencionado na descriçao do mesmo. Shame on you, developer!!! It makes us believe that we can download "n" or indefinite dicts. Lies. It´s up to a maximum of 5 dicts. The worst of all is that it isn´s described on the description.

It's not showing any meanings at all. Unless I search the words from the ebooks I'm reading. Searching in the dictionary itself loads a blank page. Bugs?

Latest version is still buggy. Can't always open it??

Dev completely destroyed this app

No point in spending so much money on this as long as it doesn't work. --- There is an option for custom folder but it isn't compatible with Android 5+

Wow. Search bar at the bottom! Thanks dude. I wish I could buy your dictionary. How can I do that?

Can't download any dictionaries, can install dictionary packages but then these can't be found by app, no help anywhere, no instructions, completely unintuitive, uninstalling.

Indeed, the best dictionary app for android! Newer version has more userfriendly interface, in fact you can change everything (buttons, arrows etc) in this app. It is very cheap! Recommend it for professionals.

Annoying ads

A dictionary app which doesn't come with any dictionaries pre-installed. Not very straightforward to install dictionaries. GUI is ugly.

Does everything I'd hope a dictionary would. Simple, effective, good looking interface.
