About Distance Meter
What does it do?
•Distance Meter allows you to measure the approximate distance and height of an object
with using your phone's camera.
•To measure the distance, just stand up, target at the BOTTOM and touch the shutter.
•To measure the height, target at the TOP and touch the shutter.
How to use Distance Meter?
Step 1. You can measure the distance from you to an object by aiming at the BOTTOM (on the ground) of it.
Step 2. The height of an object can be measured by aiming at the TOP of it.

Absolutely terrible. I measure 30cm ruler, and this app tells me that the ruler is 2.68m high, and the distance is 16m...meanwhile I'm holding it in my hand. Absolute disastrous.

This app doesn't use any technique (well, phones don't have proper sensors indeed) to measure the actual distance from an object. What it does is a draft estimation based on the viewing angle, which of course doesn't work when pointing to something not at ground level. Anyway height can be roughly estimated AFTER pointing to the target vertical projection to the ground. That means that Step1 is mandatory BEFORE Step2. Also user height must be set by touching the screen where "your height" is displayed.

Kept shutting itself off. Uninstalled and reinstalled just to happen again. Downloaded on a different phone and had the same issue.
