All the gamma interfaces are subjective to the Kernel installed if it supports them. Without a custom Kernel these functionalities will NOT work. The only part of the app that does not require any modification besides root is the Nexus 4 RGB multipliers (stock Kernel offers it by default). It does not work with any other device besides the ones mentioned above.

Therefore here's the fresh new Nexus Display Control application that lets you tune your display to achieve the best result for the best user experience. You'll be able to change the Red, Green and Blue values that are used together to calibrate your screen.
The changes are automatically set on boot so you won't need to re-set them every time you reboot or shutdown your device.

App does nothing on a Nexus 4 with CM12.1, of course gamma setting is not available, but also RGB options remain without effect and additonally can only be configured via 3 ridiculous +/- button pairs. Cannot recommend at all, waste of money. If not for the reputation of the dev I'd call it a scam.

Was a great app but needs some work to support 4.3. Gamma settings do not stick and notification is a nuisance. I will still give it 5 stars as I know it will be fixed shortly. When working correctly, this app is second to none. Edit: Dropping one star as it has been a month and settings are still not sticking after a reboot.

I have to say that this one program has made such a massive difference in display color that I'm just blown away. When in comparison with my note 2, its screen was so rich and my nexus looked gamma over driven by a long way. I in my searches came across this app and have to say its more than money well spent. Thank you!!! I would suggest though that you provide a link to your kernels. Without the correct kernel access to the gamma and or suggested settings are not possible as you know.

I paid for the FrancoKernel app that has colour control in the app, but it is wonky there and there's no visual feedback. I feel cheated I had to buy two apps to do one thing. BOOOOOO!!!!

I've been using this amazing app for my nexus 4 for almost a year until I switched to nexus 5. Since then it seems to not work properly. I do not know if this is the apps fault or if the app only supports nexus 4. Either way, I highly recommend this.

Works ok but in reality found that settings other than original didn't provide any real benefit, just changed the coloring a bit. Don't understand the "wow" comments about this app. Maybe I'm missing something.

Franco's kernel seems to be the only one that provides gamma controls with this app, but his kernel is causing my Nexus 4 running Kit Kat to reboot constantly. Other kernels, which do not cause reboots, such as matr1x and hells's core, have gamma support but do not work with this app.

Great app and it definitely changed my nexus 5 feel more like a premium device so I thank you for bringing more life into my phone but if you could make it say which profile I have on? The Franco kernal updater is only better than this app just because it has better profiles and it says which profile you are using, so hopefully someone reads this and could add more colour profiles possibly? If you could do those two things you would cure my ocd and I will use your app over the Franco kernal updater. Cheers!
