Time-motion studies are an efficiency technique where the specific steps making up a task are measured individually, to help identify where the most time is being spent and the best opportunities to improve productivity. Motions may be as fine-grained as individual hand movements (lift tool, move tool to desk, lift work piece) or complete tasks (assemble unit, place in container, wrap for shipping) depending on the goals of your study. - Detail the time spent on tasks to help prepare cost estimates
Features:
- Share graphs via email/facebook/etc and export CSV files to load into Excel
- Define multiple studies with different motion lists
- Create as many tasks/motions as you like in each study
- Easy single tap to switch between different motions during measurement
- Toggle between measuring one motion at a time, or multiple concurrent motions
Instructions:
- Create your study using the menu on the Studies screen
- Tap the study name from the list to get to the measurement screen
- Define your motions using "Edit Motions" from the menu on the measurement screen
- Duplicate, rename or delete a study by pressing and holding the study name from the Studies screen
- To share your results in a CSV file to import into Excel, use "Share" from the measurement screen menu
- To share graphs, pull up the report from Measurements -> Analyze Results -> (report name), and use "Share" from the menu
- Go into system preferences (Studies -> Menu -> Preferences) to toggle between tracking one or multiple motions at a time
- To remove a bad result, pull up the result list (Measurements -> Menu -> View Results) and press and hold the result item

I used to like this app, but upgraded to a Galaxy S7 and now it is missing the edit/create button, this app is completely useless unless you have an older model phone. PLEASE FIX THIS!!

All I can see on my Note 5 Galaxy is the sample? I used to have this app on an earlier version Android and it worked fine. Until that is resolved it's worthless. Will be glad to re-rate it if repaired. Respectfully...

Actually works on newer Androids. You just have to got to (at least on Marshmallow): Settings - Accessibility - Dexterity and interaction - Assistant menu Then just enable it and a floating button will appear. Clicking it accesses a menu that contains the three dottet button that will open the menu in the app. Original review: People have complained that it wont work on newer androids. True. The menu button wont load on my Tab S with 5.0.2. But some reason works just fine on my S6 Edge with 5.1.1. Don't know about Marsmallow though. The app has not been updated after 2012 so it's possible that it's not going to be developed anymore. Shame because evey other app I tried are terrible compared to this. Update: just bought a new tab to our workplace that had 5.1.1. as I thought it would work on it. Did not. And can also point out that it wont work on my Edge after the Marshmallow update. So it seems that if your phone has an older Android that 4.4.2. it's totaly random if it works.

I used this App and loved it BUT since I moved from Galaxy S4 to S5 it became useless because it relies on a button that is no longer available. Please fix it and I wouls suggest it to every client I have or will ever have!

For those that want a straight forward and simple motion time study app, this is it. I've used Time Pro Professional before on the PDA and this is a nice, cheap alternative. Feature Requests: -Drag and drop element instead of only using the arrows to change the order of tasks. -Some sort of editable PC template file that we can upload to the 'droid for new studies (easier to create them via a keyboard than tapping on the phone/tablet). -Ability to comment tasks (I'm having to rapid tap tasks to get a count of work processed or write it down separately). ^^ Add the above and I'll most happily give a 5-star rating! :D

Great App....need a way to make a comment about study taken, for example, material type, operator name...just a blank "sticky note". Would also be helpful to transfer steps from computer to App.
