About Roomer - Find Empty Rooms
Many students have experienced difficulty finding a good study space on campus. Libraries are often crowded, especially during exam period. Group study rooms are frequently in short supply. Roomer aims to solve this problem. Roomer shows you which lecture rooms are currently available on campus. You can then choose your favourite spot to work on your assignments, hold group meetings or practice presentations.
Roomer is currently available for the following universities:
- McMaster University
- University of Waterloo
- Western University

Cool, but could be so much better. Nice to find a room just for a short amount of time, but there's no way of knowing when a room will not be free anymore. If you're near to a class change time you might only get a few minutes in the room before having to move. And if you have to move, there's no way of knowing if that room will stay free unless you wait until after class change.
