Framelapse Pro for Android
Best timelapse app i have used so far
Where is my 4k time lapse footage, it's 2017?
Great app! Love the presets! Pixel XL
Fantastic Timelapse app!! But please add grid lines as an option.
But I find when recording with frames set to every 10 seconds or less it flattens my SGS6 battery after about 6 hours even when it's plugged into a 2 amp 5.1v charger. The phone also gets very hot. I'm guessing this is due to encoding? An option to just have the shots dumped to a folder created at start time for manual (or post rendering) would be very useful.
I'm having a problem that my framelapse pro keeps stopping part way in to a record. I set up today for a frame interval of 5 seconds should have had 3 minutes of playback I recorded for 6 hours and got 17 playback. Memory was empty to start and full battery connected to mains, Some of the other recordings o have done have been good, this seems to have started when I got the pro update.
I had a great snowfall that I was trying to time lapse. It recorded fine for at least ten hours. Went to bed and woke up to it stopped with no video. Extremely disappointed. Edit: Still occasionally breaking but developer has reached out. Make sure to Gabe DND mode on.
Hi, I've been using this app since last two years. Always worked wonders. But, lately there is some problem. All the video i get are in normal speed. No matter what settings I use. Please look into the matter.
The simple interface makes recording time lapses effortless, while the options give the possibility to modify settings to the way I like & need them. A great app with good support!
Using a Nexus 6p. Worked perfectly on Marshmallow but since updating to Nougat the screen off feature stops recording now... Need to keep the screen on. I hope the devs are aware of this and will be able to resolve it.
I have a problem that when this runs on nougat 7.0 with multi-window.. It stops recording when I touch another multi-window.. Could you fix this problem so I can use other app at the first multi-window while it is recording at the second multi-window. Thanks
I can't get this app to function on a Nexus 6P on Nougat. I've tried different durations, screen off or on and it'll only save a 1 sec video. Waste of time and money.
Works pretty much as the non pro version but when I am using the sleep mode option(disponible only on the pro version), the recording stops. Is at a misfunctioning or a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Changed to 5 stars again. Anyone if have the "stopped recording while screen goes off" uninstall and reinstall the app and disable save power in smart manager
My phone (oneplus 3T) can do up to 30 second long exposures. Why can i use that in this app too?
I have been using this app almost daily on my Nexus 6. I liked it enough to purchase the "pro" version. When it works it works well producing high quality time lapse videos and offering full control. The trouble is that about 1 in 4 times the videos stop short, I.e. I set up the menus to produce a 10s video but after hanging around for 15 minutes or longer I often end up with just a 1, 2 or 3 second clip. It has become so frustrating that I am looking for an alternative. At the same time I like the app A LOT otherwise. It's clear this is a bug, please address it. Thank you!
Easy to use and straightforward app to record timelapses. The paid Pro version unlocks several other useful features, with the most useful, in my opinion, being Sleep mode since it saves a TON of battery when recording timelapse videos. Really worth the money. The app should allow the phone's display to turn off automatically (based on timeout settings in phone) if sleep mode is enabled.
With the LG G4, the app looks like it's recording the entire time but it only saves under 1 second of video at 1080p (default). Another reviewer suggested that 720p worked better so that's the setting I'm currently using, but I'd like to use the higher resolution.
Very good but wishing if u could add video and audio editing features AFTER recording so that there would be no need to use another app for that.
Turned the sleep mode on and the recording stopped ..tried it multiple times but it is not recording while the screen is in sleep mode
This is the best app i have used for timelaps vids, i have tried a few other apps free and paid for which capture vids & a few which capture stills but they don't output anywhere near the quality of this app even when you take the stills onto the PC to check the quality, the 1080p vids look clear and crisp, you can set the bitrate too so u can balance quality v storage, as this app records video only there's nothing to render as its all done in real time! i need to look no further. Note to the author:- Can you please allow a frame interval of 0 to be allowed, then you can effectively record in real time at any bitrate you choose, effectively overriding your phones set bitrate for recording standard 30fps vids, i know this is not what framelapse is about but the extra feature would be nice and you would not need to change much in the program to accomplish this. Kind regards. Nick, Samsung Galaxy S6
Had no problems with free version at 1080p. Pro version says device (Nexus 5x) only supports 720p max.???
Video recording stops in sleep mode and even if I set Video Duration as low as 5 min. It says Recoding: 6 days 8 h. Samsung s4 mini.
This app is alright, but it crashes and loses settings frequently. It has also lost settings when updating. Minor hassle to go back and reconfigure.
Purchased this app after using the free version. The main readon for purchase was to have the display go off to save battery. When the screen goes off, it indicates recording with rhe flashing LED. When you turn the screen on, it stops the recording. The recording is also lost. It failed on the very first use after paying on my 30 minute ride home, so i can not even get a refund
Works great. Small in size. Please add iso setting to improve quality of night scenes.
The interface is simple to navigate and use. Once recording you are told how much footage you have so far which is really useful.
App crashed overnight while recording a snow storm and left me with no video, very disappointing
We should be able to upload footage and then the app should turn it into a hyperlapse considering we are paying for the app. Good app overall
Stop recording in sleep mode after updating
Clean and simple, familiar interface elements make this app effortless to jump into and start using.
Simple layout, easy to use, the results are instantly available.
This is still the best Android timelapse movie application.
But why no 4K support on Note5?
This app is awesome!
Only records for about 1 second no matter what settings I chose... Edit: I see from other feedback that this is a problem for resolutions above 720 ... Devs please fix! I can beta test if you like
The best app for time lapse, but it lacks the ability to record in 4K even though I'm using a Galaxy S6. A better menu would also be great.
I did long records, more than 8 hrs continuously at frame lapse of 2 frames/sec. It never crashed. Maybe because I was running it on a Galaxy Tab S2 and Note 4 which is a powerful tablet/smartphone. The adds are not annoying in free version. I already purchased the Pro version to enjoy full features, although it is well featured as free app. I emphasize, the app has no flaw when ran on muscled terminals. Congrats to Neximo Lab for this useful app
This app works great. It's the only one I found that exports videos as UHD(2k) whereas many others export in HD(1080p). I love being able to put the screen to sleep mode so I can mount it in my car, use my remote, and forget about it for my drives since screen isn't on. Quality is amazing and has tons of options. I love exposure and AF lock so all frames look the same and not different.

Ok great app. However I have lost quite a bit of footage because of unknown errors. What causes this? Anyone want to shed light on this? Not cool
