News Tab: Beautiful NewsReader

I'd rather pay to remove these cruddy ads, looking for something else still because the loading issues caused since ads were introduced. Before that it was a decent app. Can't even get my personal feeds to load today.

First, it is unacceptable to make this a monthly subscription!! No reason whatsoever why it should be a subscription rather than a one off payment. Greedy idiots. Second, the app is not even that good, especially the widget. No customisation, not even able to use it as a scrolling articles widget etc... Ridiculous app.

Fantastic, excellent. Covers every important national and international news from all fields. Keep it up. If possible, try to reduce the data consumption which is quite high.

Push notifications rarely go to referenced source when clicked. Paying for subscription. Why?

So far running nicely, only issue is sync version on my phone is not recognising I'm on paid version! To explain, I installed app on my tablet and clicked on paid version but the app on my phone is not recognising that I'm a paid subscriber.

This is a great app. Reminds me of the Google news stand app. A little less polished but way more customizable! Deals with RSS feed better too

Not only in words, in real also it is a beautiful news reading app. I've been waiting for this kind of app. Now enjoying it. I loved it very much. Hats off to the creators. Love from India

Potential here but it won't import correctly the news sections. Takes a lot of time to organize feeds, thirsty for ad revenue or monthly fees.

Easy to add sections and feeds to them. Good choices, attractive layout, wide range of subjects. Request done....able to move feeds to other sections.... excellent work and thank you team.

Has a lot of potential. Not quite there yet.

Update: Now my security app flags this program as doing malicious activities. I think it's time to move on from Newstab. This makes me sad. Older review: This was my favorite news reader but the recent updates have truly ruined the user experience for me. Actively looking for it's replacement.

To be honest. First and foremost this is best news reader out there. It don't get any better then this. Everytime I send feedback to the devs they get it fix asap. I love my Sports news and this helps me keep it organize. There just one problem. When a nofications comes up for a new article. I wish it would give me info about the article. Or just have the headline in there.

Very beautiful and addictive blog and news reader. However, there more room for improvement interms of user customization. There should be more user interface settings.

Fresh layout without over complicating. Wealth of news sources to pull from, managing links/feeds a breeze.

Needs to have notifications of Google alerts setup. Need to check and refresh the app each time for updates.

Good aggregator

Used to really like this, because it sync'ed across devices. Now it's spoilt by intrusive advertising. Would buy a pro version, but not on a pet device basis

Easy to use..I really like the simplified article mode.. Also like the facility to adjust fonts and page background.. Full page ads are easy to swipe through if not interested so don't bother me.. Free version is adequate to me, I would pay a reasonable amount one off to support, but I don't need option to read off line..I would like to be able to say which articles are not interesting to me, maybe by keywords in order to cut out future similar articles.

Rarely reviewing apps, but this is worth it. As RSS news user for many years, it was a hugely positive surprise how effortless this reader could add worldwide news sources perfectly parsing and saving articles offline including pictures (bit limited though) - a gem. Would appreciate being able to customize a bit more e.g. keep more offline articles for one resource (history). UPDATE had to downgrade the rating as presently the app constantly freezes at start when not having a data connection

Was really hoping for this app. Seemed like it had potential. Was ok until full screen ads. Now, I will no longer deal with the odd bugs and many quirks on top of the new full screen ads. Nope, not me.

This is really very nice, well worth paying the fee to get rid of the ads imo.

The best app for reading news.

After I updated the app on 7/7/2017 that added premium subscription option, the free version of the app is TERRIBLE! The ads are very intrusive full screen ads that pops up very frequently, like at every other article.

New monthly subscription pricing is not competitive, almost all if not every other other reader allow a one time purchase. They just priced themselves at lowest value for your dollar

Sadly uninstalling due to intrusive full page advertising. Some with sound and fixed timing before I can 'X' and move on, the worst kind.

Was relatively good news app/feed reader now ruined by the worst type of ads possible. Remove at end of month if no change.

Not very useful when it links to articles on the Australian paper website that require a subscription.

Another app gone subscription. Plenty of quality RSS apps available for a one-time charge. Uninstalling and won't be looking back.

I happily accidentally found this app. Ive read complaint comments about pymt and subscriptions bit first, the free app is fine with minimal ad bar and everything I have on my feed is free to read, from local news to world news, so I've had no problems there. Ive tried other apps like this one without being too impressed with them and always ended up deleting them. This app is so well done. The layout is pretty, it's really user friendly and any news page/blog you follow will probably be available. I love that you have the option to mark as read once scrolled down cause I don't read every article and once I scroll past I don't need to see it again.

EDIT: All is well, I used an unstable VPN and some sites didn't support loading thumbnails. ... 5 shuriken! NewsTab has the omnipotential to become the new found champion torch bearer of RSS readers, like Taptu once was ... Is it normal behavior that images don't load in 'guest' mode? Will rate 5 shuriken when answered, thanks and keep it rolling : )

Need for now: - multiple select to move in organize section - ability to edit and add keywords om google alert - sub category for each section? For now this is great. Keep up the good work! Would pay if you add those features. - sorting filter for feeds in organize mode.
