Not gonna buy a subscription when it says is free..I live in colorado now, used to live in dalhart and always got the paper..i enjoy reading about amarillo and area.

This app used to be really good. While it says it is a free app, you cant actually use the app to read the paper unless you pay a subscription fee. Very false advertising.

I love reading the news on my phone. Now all of a sudden it's saying in order to keep on reading it I have to be a subscriber? What in the world?! I've never had this problem! I read the news on a daily basis! Please help! I need my news!

A few months ago I downloaded AGN on my Ipad and love to read my local newspaper digitally. It is like reading the paper copy version, plus they sometimes include additional photos. I was excited that my Nook could now have this app available, so I immediately downloaded it from Google Play. I was IMPRESSED by how utterly lame this version is. The format was different (didn't look how or feel like a newspaper) but I can get over that, but it only had about 6 local articles for the current date. "AGN Lite" would be a better name for the app. I hope they improve this app within the next few months, otherwise I will delete it.
