Just love having the newspaper available to read at anytime. Love that the inserts are included. The articles written are very informative and is worth the time downloading.

It says automatic download but automatic means the user must start it.

After update the app will no longer download my subscription

New version looks nice but downloads take 10x as long and appear to hang sometimes for tens of minutes, almost unusable for the Friday and Sunday editions. Old version was much faster.

Don't have wait for my paper delivery!!!!

They finally updated their app after 3 years with an outdated version. A pleasure to use now.

Could not login, had to send email to customer service. They ignored me for a day, then I sent a reminder. Then they said to try again, at which point it started working. If you already have an account, apparently they have to do something to get it to work on your android device. Once I got in, I was thoroughly disappointed to find that these are just pictures of the printed newspaper. This app was also written back in 2011. Is the Honolulu Star Advertiser truly out of touch with the online world? Sadly, it appears so. C'mon Star Advertiser, make your online edition available for the android, not just silly pictures of your newspaper!

Why is it so hard to tap (or double tap) on an article and read it as a digital article instead of a newspaper article?

I'm sure this would be a great app if it worked.

The previous app worked this one won't even authenticate. Fire your beta testers and the coder for shame with the amount of resources the paper has.

Please fix your app, thanks! This app used to work great, but now it won't let me download my issues or authenticate my subscription :( It's a shame because it was really good before.

This app is useless. I can't log in to my account (I have a subscription), and when you email them for help, no one responds. I emailed them for help 3 weeks ago and still have not received a reply. I'm going to uninstall the app already. Don't waste your time with it!

Can't authenticate. They've called back twice, suggested I redownload, no help. They reset my password, no help. Its been over a month. I've seen what it can do if it lets you log in: its good software. I just can't get there.

For current SA subscribers - you must log in to your print replica first for this app to work correctly! After logging into the Print Replica from a desktop/laptop, then use the same username and password to use this app.

Don't like it, should be set up like the I phone

This works great and downloads the issues very fast. The layout is just like the actual paper only better because you have out everywhere without the newsprint residue.

Unable to authorize. Email address on google play is no longer valid. Calls to star advertiser did not know how to help. Use pressreader insead. You c a n log in with star advertiser code.
