The Star ePaper for Android
Please fix epaper account issue. Recently renew with extended another year but failed to recognise the renewed account. Please fix this new interface. Getting badly design and not synchronise with The Star ePaper account.
Been facing some bugs since started using this application. Current software change lacks appeal and heavy for my Note8
An easy software to use. Mirror image of the real newspaper in hard copies. If u are lazy enough to read, just turn on the voice reader to read an article. Cool.
In the update account page, there is no confirmation pop-up before subscription; meaning if I accidentally click a subscription and its lighted green there is no indication of me selecting a subscription, and thereeafter there is a 'confirm' button which I had thought was "confirm update account" instead of "confirm subscription". It doesnt say anywhere either that I have just unknowingly subscribed to subscriptions (no confirmation message, no prompt for "are you sure you want to continue with ?") Please fix this IMMEDIATELY
New interface not user friendly.
All the app version is keep improving but unfortunately the New version is worse and not user friendly at all
Presentation good. But use alot of space! Almost 1gb at lowest number of issues kept. Need better coding
Landscape mode shud show only 1 page of the paper as previously, NOT 2 pages now after the update. Showing 2 pages requires more movements n zooming from user to read. Not user friendly n a step backwards as other users have commented.
Problem with loading the article when the title is selected, before the facelift , everything is alright. Now, just got to zoom in and zoom out manually ☹️
The resolution of newspaper become worse after update. It is very blur. Anyone is facing the same problem?
It keeps delay. Hang. And worst is unable to copy link at all the respond is dam slow.
A waste of subscription fee as the apps is not working

Old version much much better
After upgrading it reset your subscription be careful it a cheating the star epaper
Needed a moment to figure out how to delete old issues.... otherwise smooth

New version can't read offline mode for those issue that had been downloaded. Why restrict this option in new version?
New version is a step backward, and consume higher data..

Good.Simple.Reliable.Able to download issues without problem.
Slow loading
1. Keep crashing. Sometimes even though you've chosen to enter the library, it redirects you to 'publication'. 2. Image cannot load properly. The lagging will cause two or three publications with the same cover page (and are thus wrong). 3. It cannot load properly. Going to the next page will sometimes display the previous pages, and I have to go to the next page and return to that page to properly load the page.
I think the new interface is a step back. The old one was clean and showed only my favourites on Main screen and showed when I had read them. The new one uses too much space on old and unwanted and does not show when they are read. Change for change sake is a bad Idea
The new update is so useless where I can't delete unwanted copies. The person who design the update must have lost his brain I guess.
If I could. I'll give it -5star. Went in for a trial RM10 1 month period. Paid, and it has been 2 days. Nothing. No email confirmation on how to use it. Can't authorise. When register, needs credit card details. What the????... please refund me. I'm uninstalling.

I have install the apps for 2 weeks immediately after payment to Star and until now ( 2 weeks ), yet to receive any email from Star on account activation. Customer Service is the worse than horror nightmare, communicate for 15 times and then finally manage to solve the problem 25 days after payment of subscription. ABSOLUTELY SUCKS! Install the new version but it is like a downgrade from the previous version. Hang constantly, take time to load, cannot share... are you serious.... Can`t these Star IT people for the love of god do things better than charging people a fee for inferior work?
