The basic idea is great, and the app is minimally usable, but it is rather ugly, and is clearly an iOS app ported to Android in the cheapest possible manner. If the app was better I might use this exclusively instead of the physical paper. Also, there are a lot of errors in the text that do not appear in the physical paper - almost as if it were scanned?

Works well on Android phone and tablet.

Great when it works, but many bugs still evident. Apparently will suddenly stop for no reason and articles get mixed together at times causing confusion as you read.

Crashes occasionally and you need to reload the app to regain full functionality. Android version not nearly as good or reliable as Apple version.

I love the exact image experience of reading the paper. Content is very good and readily available. The navigation needs work. I can do the basics, but it seems to take a lot of in-and-out clicks.

It's not bad, but I'd like to be able to do the puzzles (crossword, sudoku, kenken) within the app using my stylus. Or at least be able to print like you can from the Web version, even to a pdf.

For times when I'm on the road, Globe2Go helps me keep up with what's happening back home. If I'm out of the country, it's the first place I go for world news.

Once the download has occurred it is a good app. However it doesn't auto download the latest daily and it won't allow you to read any of the paper until it is completely downloaded. An exercise in patience.

I've been using this app for years, it's not perfect but it works well

Not after games after news navigation on tablet is fast , no problems in 4 years. Love the wright's and disclosures.

Great app, easy to navigate. I like that the font is exactly like the print edition. Big bonus no more paper product.

An awesome interface...as good as reading the paper.

I just love the paper delivered everyday to my in Box. So easy to take it with me on my travels.

I love the layout, I can flip through visually, expand or get text view. It downloads fast for offline reading.

Hard to read in landscape mode

A dependable way to read the paper, although it's mighty expensive.

For some reason downloading an issue takes over an hour on a perfectly fine wireless network

An intelligent newspaper.

Reading is good once paper is up but has scrolling problems and crashes have increased in latest version. It has always had issues with scheduled downloads and stalling on the library page when network is weak or in transition.

Much much slower than the pervious version but still ok

Navigation of sections ok but apps devoid of useful search and bookmark functions and has a serious bug (android) of being unable to send links

Loaded the app and it says device not recognized. .. Brand new Samsung edge +. Crap app. Please fix it.

If the Globe and Mail believes that their pathetic imitation of a news app will someday replace the print version, then they are sadly mistaken. Their app is disorganized, hard (if not impossible) to use and lacking real news content. If the Globe wants to see what a "real" news site looks like, they could look at any number of good newspapers in the U.K. and even a few in the Excited States.

I love the versatility of this app, I just wish that I was able to do the crossword puzzle in the Saturday issue, and also it would be great if there was a way of adjusting the font size.

Using the press reader app to download globe go is complicated. I have had trouble each time I change devices. It's pointless to have globe go if you also have globe unlimited.

On android, I get a black screen when I launch it, and it freezes. If I reinstall the app, I will lose all the back issues I have saved. Aweful.

Got to love Google

Control isn't the best, but it does the job. App works best on tablet.

New version is difficult to manage. Articles are slow to open, text size has to be continually reset, articles freeze and don't progress to next page. UGH!

Please fix the navigation. On Galaxy 3 it's way to finicky as I try to move from article to article. It's always jumping back a page or forward a page as I try to move zround the page.

I'd say the efficiency just took a huge leap forward, well done.
