Montreal Gazette ePaper for Android
I hate the new Gazette app. I can't delete read editions, and The Gazette help desk didn't have a solution.
After last update, the voice in the listen feature became worst. The listen feature needs fixing as it will loop through the same article.
Easy to use.
I use this app every day and I'm pleased with it.
Does what it says and delivers the print version directly unto your phone. This app is also user friendly, just as the real paper itself, love it. Good job well done.
Fast and easy.
This is not an app you have to have if you want news. Unless you have a Gazette home paper subscription you can file and forget it. Many other news apps out there give high quality news with none of this paywall BS.
Deception with purchase. Total BS and wind up with online/old app access. Nobody seems to support it after you part with money and then blame you. Rip off!

Just what I was looking for as an add on to my paper home subscription. Works exactly as it should.
I like the app. Has replaced my physical paper. Would give it more stars but I can't get it to automatically download new issues like it says it should. I have to go in and download each day
Can't get pas section A without the app crashing.
I absolutely love what the Gazette has done with this new app. It is now my primary source of news and it was not even a consideration before. I even became a paid subscriber. I can't say enough about how much I applaud the new "re-imagined" paper and it's companion epaper
Tab S
Can't even load it
App downloads the paper fine, but click on it and it just kicks me out of the app, unable to read the epaper on my nexus 5 running Android 5.0

Doesn't work on nexus 5, android version 5.0
Registered with post media since I'm a paper subscriber. Now that the 30 days are up, the app refuses to accept my credentials
Only works sporadically on my Nexus 5. Old app was quite a bit better. On the verge of uninstalling. Am a long time Gazette subscriber btw, so will still read paper version. Shame... Was looking forward to this
Works perfectly on my old Galaxy Nexus. Great for the bus & metro. No issues at all.
Keeps crashing on nexus 5 android 5.0... Downloads fine but never works
Doesn't work on lollipops! Waiting for the fix coming sooner!
I see the appeal of this app and I'm sure it's much better on tablets but the old Montreal Gazette app was perfect for mobiles. Up to the minute stories without having to download a digital newspaper. If I wanted to read and flip a full length paper everyday I would get a copy delivered to my door. Needless to say I won't really be using this app and the quality of the original has gone down since it's release. Going to have to find another news source.
So the amazing app you had before doesn't update anymore and now we have to pay to read the paper. Add revenue should be enough for them but nooooo
Great app so far but please please bring back the masthead with classic Gazette logo !!
Whole newspaper online. Easy to read, zoom and scroll. Slick.
Easy to read type/font, clean and bright layout.
Good: You do get the daily newspaper on your mobile. Poor: It's like the old microfilm -- it doesn't make use of the interactivity of current mobile apps You cannot scroll through articles; there are no videos; no series of photos; you can't play the games on the device (eg crosswords); even the ads are boring and static. Needs a serious redesign.

I can see why people lile this app. It's flashy, new and just sooooo Toronto. Look, i know all the papers are more or less owned by a small handful of companies, but to make them all look the same aside for the name on the front page bothers me. Also, this may be different on tablets, but when trying to zoom and read the endge of a page, it keep skiping to the page next to what i want to read. I said in my title that i prefered the original Gazette app & i don't have the space to tell you why, just trust m
I have always loved The Montreal Gazette. Informative and effective. Easy and interesting. Thank-you

On 3 occasions the app has not stopped trying to download an issue when wifi has been disconnected. The continuous wifi retrys cause the battery to drain rapidly. The only way to stop this, is to reboot the phone. Nexus 5 wifi only no data plan.
