Doesn't even load as it keeps crashing unistalled the the app

Maps dont load. No search bar.

Used to read this every day now it fails to open. Very sad.

Very nice to have Japanese news in English and videos in Japanese. And application has been fixed and no longer crashes! Enjoy!

This used to be good, now every story you open causes the app to crash. I uninstalled the app, then installed it after a month - still crashes when you click on a headline. Seems the last update was well over 18 months ago. I get the impression that it's been abandoned. I hope not.

App worked really well up until it updated, now will force close every second story or so.

From crashing when opening articles, to crashing when opening the apps... This application is becoming such a bad one that it is not even a functionable one at all. Very disappointing that I need to uninstall because it is not usable.

I've only downloaded this app because the "Japan today " app isn't available, only to have this one constantly crash when loading new articles.

I've been able to read a few stories, but most force close the app when I tap on them.

This app was great but it hasn't been working for a while now... Idk if the developers are going to even fix it or not.

Haha, I just downloaded this to see if it even crashes on a high end phone.... And yup it sure does, the commenters were right. Hehe I was choosing between this and another 3 star app, I guess this makes my choice easy. :-)

I literally downloaded it a few seconds ago and every time I click an article it force closes. Not worth the space to have this app

This was a good app until my phone upgraded to lollipop, now the app crashes whenever I select a story to read.

I use this app across several devices. Provides a good overview of news stories English speakers may be interested in.

This app is great for a great morning headstart if you are a forginer living in Japan

It is nice to have real time update of news but it will be better if once downloaded and can see it offline. We have to go online every time we want to check the news.
