1. When zooming out of an article, it should treat the back-key as a page refresh and not to quit the app. 2. When you do quit and later open the app up, it would be nice to resume at the page you were up to.

I have never been so disgusted with an app as I have with this app. It is the worst app ever. I have recently updated my phone and still have the same problems. The layout of the previous app's today's news was best; you keep seeing the same news items in different sections and miss out on others now. What happened to all the comics? Where is the daily quiz? The layout of the newsstand/library is about the only improvement but even then it fails to respond and keep losing selected newspapers downloaded if they even display them for download. I set the papers to keep at 21 days but I'm lucky to have them up to 14 days. EITHER FIX THIS APP OR BRING BACK THE OLD APP!!!!!!!! N O W ! ! ! ! !

Does not load articles or images, very slow not impressed with app considering paying for subscription.

This is actually quite good, but even after turning every notification off I still get up to 10 notifications a day. Why?

Keeps crashing....

Don't get the same news as the daily paper as it did previously no matter how you setup my news, shows old news the previous days news as well.

App gets better all the time which was needed desperately.

Terrible, gave it 2 weeks and still had issues, some of the categories don't load - not the full comics - no weather settings. This is supposed to be the new beaut app... Bring back the old!!!

Hopeless app. Stops working, so far 10 times in less than 5 minutes. Forced stop and worked again for less than a minute. Finally had to in install and reinstall and got 10 minutes before guess what? The old app never had this trouble (as much) and I much preferred reading the paper where I could skip easily to the next article instead of having to read a digital print edition where I have to scroll through 12 pages of racing form guide to get to the rest of an opinion article I am. reading and then have to do it again for the other article on the same page.

Bring back the old version! I am just about ready to cancel my subscription.

Recent update hasruined it

This app is utter rubish. Why when it an't broke does some idiot decide to fix it? Before the update it was useable, now it is not. If you want to read the digital version of the paper, on a tablet, forget it. It starts to download and then freezes in a paused state. I have cancelled my subscription.

And that's an update? Going to cancel my subscription now. Absolutely useless app. Used to be easy to read from front to back by swiping left to right. Now for some reason you can't do that, it's segmented and the same articles come up multiple times. Forget the e edition that's only good on laptops. Did someone from The Age design this app?

Prefer the old version. I see articles repeating and I am not sure if I am reading the whole paper. The news stand downloaded copy is great but the font is not readeable unless manual adjustment is made to increase font on each article. Rotation don't work. Not good on an 8" tablet.

If you have paid for subscription ask for you money back. The online Paper cant be down loaded. It always says "paused". Bring back the other app or give me my money back.

What are you doing? You had a great app now it's junk. To now download a paper in PDF format to read is just backwards. Please revert to the old app and bring back mobile viewing format.

Forced to update to new version of app. Said it was for mobile and tablet. Wouldn't update for tablet. It just sat there. Had to uninstall old app manually. Then go back to app store and install again on tablet. Installed on tablet. Selected today's paper which it displayed but the progress bar only showed "paused". It wouldn't get out of the paused status. Had to abandon and exit. This new app is NO GOOD. It obviously wasn't tested. I'm now losing out on reading the digital paper. Very disappointing. May have to unsubscribe if not rectified quickly. There should at least be an acknowledgement that there is a problem with the app!

App update puts notifications on by default. Can turn it off via settings. But cheeky at best to assume I wanted them on when that feature never existed before. Perhaps it would be a good idea to ask next time.. #intrusive

You've completely failed on this, Herald-Sun. Now i can't even read the paper any more. The old app was brilliant and the digital print edition was good, but this app is terrible. It is not intuitive and i can't even find the front page any more.

New version is a massive backwards step. The digital version's sections menu's drop down menu only drops down 4 items, forcing me to scroll every time I want the back cover section. If I back out of the app then return later to the digital edition, I Iose my place, and am forced to flick all the way through to where I last was up to. Very disappointing downgrade.

New version, same problems. I live in regional VIC and have no internet on the train, and I subscribed for the 'digital print' functionality. Across multiple versions the digital print has been only loadable around 1% of that time - appalling.

I have been using for 4 years and now this version not supported by my tablet. Looks like news corp about to lose my subscription. #fail

Complete garbage and is a cut down version of the old app. Hides alot of news if you don't have it as a My Topic. Forces you to visit their ad driven website

The new app is hopeless. I just want the app to provide the news the same as it is in the newspaper. I dont want to be going all over the place to find articles. Downloading the digital paper is ok, but trying to read it is a nightmare. Thinking of just cancelling my entire subscription.

Less content on this version unless you download the paper. This is an extra step and hard to read on a phone. I'll uninstall the app & just go to the website.
