NewsBlur for Android
Excellent app and service. UI feels a little dated, but still the most used app on my phone.
Does not pull articles anymore. Which makes it worthless.
The complete experience is bad
Fast and charming. It feels like you're part of someone's advanced, personal news project.
Really wish it could send push notifications on android
Awesome
I don't understand why this app have so many down vote. Just tested the web version, liked i, sign up ,blown away by the UX, and decided to get it in my phone. The app is great, and the apk, less than 1mb, I really like this app. The only thing I don't like about it is the icon. I guess it's just me. Edit: I don't know what's the hype with material design but I prefers this by far. It's unique. So please don't change it to material where ALL apps looks the same boring.
I looked for lots of different free RSS readers after LinkedIn stopped theirs and this was my favourite. Nice simple clean interface - I don't make use of most of the extra features, I just enjoy seeing my list of feeds and a count of unread stories - love the newly added thumbnails on the story lists. Thanks.
The only RSS reader that matters. Syncs on all devices, is lightning fast and has awesome little details that make life easier for news junkies.
Have loved Newsblur ever since the "oh no, Google Reader is going away, what do I do?" This update is very nice for the UI updates and including image thumbnails in the feeds.
Seems good but hard to get going due to light grey on white low contrast text. High contrast text option needed for readability and to prevent eyestrain. Looking forward to future updates.
Love the service and the app is nice. But. It's in dire need of a material design makeover. Holo design is still in here.
Newsblur continues to innovate, constantly raising my expectations for what an RSS aggregator should be.
Latest update is incredibly laggy on scrolling between articles
Great app, only one minus - missing widget.
5.0 update is terrific, thanks!
One of the best rss readers out there. The text view (works like instapaper) and filtering content by tags and authors is great. You have to stick to it for a while to learn how to personalize it best. It sits right there with the gReader. Update 2 : Returned to the app after a year. Was such a memorable app, but it looks so old
Looking for an alternative to Feedly and Inoreader, as both now restrict IFTTT acess behind a pay wall. Everytime I tried to share an article the app would crash. Very dissapointed
The NewsBlur server freezes and crashes every day, affecting this app and the website. It has always had issues, but they've gotten much worse lately. Fortunately discovered today The Old Reader. Bye bye!
Used to be rock solid but lately its been crashing often
It does what I want, does it well, and does it without a fuss. Recommended without reservations.
Used Google Reader, best replacement to date!
Best RSS reader
Good
Doesn't show full text of the majority of stories.
Works much better now, still slow at loading stories.
Gotta uninstall, have loved this app until now. :(
Works much better now, still slow at loading stories.
Best RSS reader since Google Reader
Newest update kills the battery. It's the largest culprit. Please look at it.
keep the hard work
Program has really improved in the last year. Still a little unreliable from time to time, but does the job.
The app just freezes and boots you out. Never got it working.
I just moved to android with nexus 6p and whilst I used this app on my earlier iPhone which was also little slow, the android version is just really bad. It is extremely slow and have to wait for few seconds after every action. Sometime i would finish reading all stories and it won't mark them as read. One of the worst app I've used in a long time and its almost 2016. I hope it's fixed soon as am a paid customer for newsblur and this experience is extremely poor.
After recent updates it now no longer *constantly* crashes. Still limited in functionality though (no apparent way to mark as unread or to do intelligence training.) Edit: after recent updates seems a bit more stable.
It's come a long way. No more complaints!
The new version (4.5) is great. The application is much faster, rich with options and many bugs were fixed. I'm happy.
I suppose it would be possible to imagine features, even useful ones, that aren't in the current version. But seriously, for dedicated news or RSS junkies this service really rocks. Worth the subscription price for me!
Worth Every Penny, and a few more

Really need to splitt up the sidebar and articles view on tablets. Filters/trainer also need to be accessible via mobile. Changeing btw the app and browser just for that is making it struggling to use. Also seriously need to update the look of the app. So outdated.
