GridWatch - Load Shedding

It is a useless program. . As they expalined to me.. it tells us of SCHEDULED loadshedding by Eishkom.. Then what is the point of this app.. we need to know when they are on and how long etc.. and where .. so we can avoid dead traffic lights.. .. they told me we need to contact our power provider direct... the WHY the APP?????? So it is not outdated.. it is just plain useless and an excellent data waster..

Sometimes the phone freeze and then I've lost your pop-up. I still want to go into the app and be able to read what the pop-up said.

This app is great, but i feel that the way the schedule is displayed is a bit confusing... why cant you just give us the text version of the schedules like on the site, this is unnecessarily complicated way to display the information. remember Occam's Razor: the simplest and best solution is usually the right one

My daughter uses grid watch & her times are completely different than the times on my app for the exact same area.. Can't understand how that's possible. The times on my app for my area are never the actual times I get loadshedding.. Please help me fix this issue!

Well this thing is not accurate. It says loadshedding is happening at a certain time and is doesn't happen. So we have to arrange our schedule for supper since "loadshedding is going to happen" at a certain time. Yet it doesn't.

Its accurate and handy, but at times I would get constant notifications with: Eskom has suspended load shedding, and, Eskom has implemented stage one load shedding. When this happens, I easily get 20 notifications in 10 min and that makes me consider deleting the app

This app sucks. It never gets it right. Not once did load shedding take place when the app said it would. Notifies of load shedding when there is not, does not notify when there is load shedding. Excellent concept...horrible app.

But I live in Sydney and the load shedding info is not accurate. I blew the power in my home, and much of my suburb, and there was no warning from your app. If you guys can't predict when I'm gonna stick a screwdriver in the power plug, I may as well delete it.

This app did not work for me at all. Just caused undue stress. The power never once went off at listed times, on any of the 4 locations I have stored. I was lucky if it got the day correct, nevermind the time! Unimpressed! !

Really great app, except for the latest pop ups that have been added. I really only want to know when I will be affected by load shedding. I don't want load shedding forecasts or news upsates on load shedding. Please stop the pop up updates. Very annoying.

Useful app, I have been using it for the past few months but recently m nt getting updates for my city... Pls check

The app is useful, but the ads are a huge pain. Some other alternatives are free without ads. If you realy need to cover development costs, offer a paid version without the ads.

It worked fine but after last update, I don't get any warnings anymore.

Not updated! No times displayed correctly. Our power went out, no notification received. Please update...

Our area's group changed to 10 after the last update on the 11th. Gridwatch still has us listed as group 3, thus no warning of tonight's load shedding... used to work very well

Simple, accurate, nice interface. Keeps multiple schedules and gives you decent alerts. Even has a handy torch app for when you need it!

Some mugu got the update wrong. Why did he not leave well alone? Sigh. The app crashes every time. This on my sony st23i.

Does not start. Use load shedding from abiisoft... It works !!!!

Love the torch addition. Very useful app! Love the irony of having such a fancy app to help provide information on a basic utility we thought was given in the 21st century.

Send 1 notification and not 30 in 20 minutes

Same problem here no power early morning and didn't get fair warning fro grid watch used to work excellent
