Thanks for solving the readability issues but now you get random video ads with volume on. Almost woke up my baby today! Ads, yes, of course you need to earn income but video ads with volume on, no thanks!

by D####:

Used to be reasonable, but now only a few images load properly, and there is a lot of superimposed, unreadable text. Something has gone seriously wrong! Most pages are OK but the Home page is a disaster. Some improvements. Pop-up ads are annoying, but worst problem is poor text layout. Should be a space after each comma and full stop, and a space before hyperlinks so that paragraphs display properly. Looks as if it is set up by a real beginner.

D70%
by D####:

So many stories unreadable. What a disgrace of a website. Would not recommend this app to anyone. Fix it or remove your app.

J70%
by J####:

Links are not working properly; almost everything leads to "Victorian News". And where is the Travel section?

D70%
by D####:

Fairfax stated they are moving to the centre right of politics. We have enough right wing rags. App remove!

W70%
by W####:

Yes it works but way to many pop ups.

Text superimposed in Melbourne Express...useless

The ads make it almost unusable

Uninstalling this app after 5 mins. I have had 3 full screen ads already. Too many.

Hate the ads they really have ruined what was an ok app....apart from occasional shoddy journalism. Obviously an attempt to push readers unto paying for their news. Uninstalled.

C70%

What happened? All of a sudden, I'm being told I've reached my monthly article limit and I can no longer access articles without a monthly subscription.

Print has shrunk from what it used to be. Need a magnifying glass to read it now!

C70%

Used to love reading the news here. I don't understand it now. It's not clear. It doesn't fit on my screen. Why change something that was great.

C70%
by C####:

This app needs to be fixed. Too many bugs and too many ads. Very disappointing.

Awesome news coverage, keeps you updated with your surroundings.

When u click Real Footy...just get an ad..

The ads are annoying but understand that the app is free. But the really annoying thing is that the live feed doesn't work ever. Otherwise a good app.

S70%
by S####:

As a digital subscriber to The Age, I would love to have access to the full version on my android phone without ads. Please look into it as I wouldn't be the only one.

S70%

Had to uninstall because of popup ads even though I have a subscription.

This app needs to be fixed. Too many bugs and too many ads. Very disappointing

X70%

Was good app before updated, but ads now are dodgy, unsavoury and difficult to get rid of. Won't use this app any more

J70%
by J####:

Only thing missing is the ability to download all articles for offline viewing? Also willing to pay to have adds removed

X70%
by X####:

I understand that ads on free apps are standard, but to have them pop up covering the whole page without warning so I accidentally tap on it is obnoxious. Especially when some of the ads are dodgy as hell & want you to install some shady stuff. No thnx. I don't mind ads within the article or on the bottom, but constantly forcing people to be redirected with those things is not cool at all.

X70%
by X####:

I used to read this feed daily. First the landscape issue and now the ads......Any app that runs unmuted ads when I have mute on gets exterminated.

This app is crap. ABC News 100% better. The pop up ads are ruining this app. I am a paid up subscriber of The Age so there shouldn't be any ads. Also why cant I get the same app on my phone as I get on my tablet? I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription with The Age

When reading an article if I turn Samsung S5 phone sideways it reverts back to home page . I've tried reinstalling to no avail. It used to work but started playing up a few weeks ago. 07/02/2015. Problem still ongoing. Now it doesn't update. Also the full screen ads are a pain. You've managed to stuff up what used to be a really good app.

X70%
by X####:

For what used to be a good app and was something that kept the age brand alive and distinguished. This app has disintegrated into an intolerable mass of continuous recurrent cold core sales pitch. I wouldn't load flappy bird on my phone EVER. Let alone answer some lurid "call me now bs trap add" nor am I inclined to load any form of game or gambling app. Appreciate the need for marketing and sales to support an organisation however this is intolerable.

I70%
by I####:

Sadly the full page ads are super annoying. And it appears the content is not updated on weekends. Looks like the standard has dropped...I have started looking elsewhere for my news fix.

X70%

Fluffy....the same ad over and over...if I didn't want it the first time.. why would I after 200 times..

D70%
by D####:

Had enough of pop up ads. Will try abc for a while.

Had been a good little app but recently the ads have become so intrusive I'm likely to stop using. Talk about doing something to death!

X70%
by X####:

Vicious ad-ware was installed on two separate phones when we installed (and re-installed) the Age RSS. Advertisements pop up (only when using the Age), and it's almost impossible to avoid tapping on them. We have sadly had to uninstalled the Age.

O70%
by O####:

This app is still a huge battery drainer. Seems like nobody cares?

T70%
by T####:

Had to uninstall because of popup ads

X70%
by X####:

The app has obviously been changed to encourage to sign up for the paying version. The ads for signing up for games, SMH and Age sites a beyond a joke. Think I might just remove the app and rely on the ABC app.
