About FreqFinder

For use with transmitters by Lectrosonics, Comtek, Sennheiser, Zaxcom, and more.

FreqFinder calculates the intermodulation products of user entered transmitter channels and then suggests options of channels that will be compatible with user transmitters already in use.

Recommended for use with 12-24 transmitter systems depending on the processing power of your device and the spread of your transmitters.

US Customers: TVDB in-app purchase now available. Accesses the FCC database for local TV broadcast towers and estimates the field strength at your location for better channel selection.

I wonder if you would add in ear monitoring systems to this not just microphones. For example the Sennheiser EW 300 IEM G3

A fantastic app to avoid intermodulation on your freqs, a must have for all audio people.

Much nicer interface, might be nice to store groups of transmitters for different occasions (3 tx for one job, 7 tx for another etx). Had a dropout on one rx with .400 mhz spacing so maybe a "use extra safe spacing" compatibility mode might also be useful. Also would like lectrorm to be integrated into this app so it does the work for you. Overall though, a very handy tool.

The TV antenna approximation feature seems to have failed on me lately and I have paid the additional fee for it. When I set the location for my shoot it no longer gives me tv antenna strength values or "recommended freqs". The right column of my freqs is just blank now. It works great when it works. Please help!

Didn't open on my phone at first, sent them an email report and not even an hour later, got a response back from the tech crew saying they would fix it in a few hours and KAPOW!! Not even 2 hours later I was up and running with this beaut. Deff worth the $$$

Great app, there is really nothing else like it for an android or Apple device. It's a real time saver with many pro features. I use it before every gig that I have rf on to coridinate frequenies. It's also great on site to find compatible frequencies especially with units from different manufacturers. The customer service is also great, I had requests that were added to the app and instant response when I had questions or needed help.

Works great for sorting out my radios. Just keeps all my channels clean and clear as long as no one uses any radios I'm not made aware of... When I later went to install on my tablet, there were far fewer transmitter profiles than the one I had on my phone. This was resolved by a reinstall, but was awkward when I tried to show off my cool new app and only 4 types of transmitter, which we didn't have, showed up in the list.

Really slow adding and deleting channels. Should be a setup page where you can select.. 5xmodel and range hh, 4 x model and range iem etc then hit 'populate list button'. Then based on ranges you chose, it should automaticaly asign intermod free frequencies to all your channels. also can't find a way to delete all the channels in one go. You should be able to save lists e.g. working same venue with same equipment few weeks later. And it doesn't seem to calculate frequencies between each .100mhz??

Getting better all the time too. If consideration for different mW outputs could be woven in too then we'd be nearing perfection.

I have been using this App for the past 2 years, with great success. I recently upgraded my android tablet which was no longer compatible with the App. I advised the developer, who responded immediately, and has re-worked the app to make it compatible with the new technology. Stunning service!

So far this has been a God Send, helping keep all my transmitters from intermodding with eachother. I have several bag profiles setup for different jobs I do from time to time. This app quickly fixes a lot of problems that I can accidently impose upon myself through intermodulation. I've had this app for a little over a year now on my HTC Amaze 4G and it has only gotten better with each new update. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I think there is still room to get better, but so far it has! This is

I've had this app for about a year and a half now and I have to admit I am incredibly impressed. I have it in both droid and iPhone formats and I am completely satisfied with both. It is invaluable when out on the field and a recoordination is necessary. It's a wonderful alternative to the professional wireless software which is very expensive. It has great add ons and lots of useful features including it's linking with lectro RM app. It saves you time and more often than not you come out a hero.

It's not always completely accurate (this week I had intermodulation problems on one suggested frequency) but it's much better than guessing in the dark. I think the interface needs work though - it's very unintuitive as things stand.

I found this app a bit "too young" and under development when I bought it but they are working very well on it and they do listen to requestes. It does perfectly what it is designed for and is saving me hours on my job. It does the calculations for me giving me the right frequencies to use. Thank a lot for your work.

FreqFinder has pulled through for me on several occasions. Sometimes I get better results with this than with an IAS freq study. The TV transmitter settings help greatly with coordinating UHF video transmitters mounted near my camera hops receivers. And I've had great success coordinating with the locational TV antenna field strength approximations. Good work, keep it up!

Great. Having purchased in Jan I'd built up a fair few tx profiles that worked in UK and overseas. Very reliable and easy to use. Unfortunately all that changed with recent update. All tx profiles lost. Complete blank. What a terrible loss, and over sight on the update patch side

I've used FreqFinder for a year or so now. It does exactly what it says it does. It helps me coordinate multiple wireless signals in order to help cut down on the chance of intermodulation. The TV function also helps a lot. Especially with my older Lectro units that don't have a scan readout. Thanks for the app.
