Tinnitus Alleviator for Android
Guys when is the version going to be available like the Apple one where we can play our own music, you keep saying it will be ready in about a month? I keep paying the same price as an Apple user and I get half the functionality, can you please give us a firm date because I'm not going to keep paying until the update is ready, thank you
I really like this app. It does quiet down the ringing. I would like to play longer than 60 minutes. Does the unlimited version allow you to listen more than 60 minutes at a time. Would give more star if I could n
I tried to do the hearing test, so I went to a quiet place and went through all the tones and pressed the big red rectangle as the app instructs, at the completion nothing else happened. The screen did not clear and there was no populating of info. So I tried a second time with the same results. Well basically I wasted my time trying to get the app customized for me...the app has an issue.
It's good over all I can't hear the ringing but is it really possible that this could get rid of my tinnitus? I honestly just have it on my left ear and it's so annoying my hearing is good just the ringing ruins it anyways thank you
Did the hearing test, but first looked at the audiometric setting in the custom setting. Like others, the screen never auto cleared. I clicked back to the Custom Setting and the values were exactly what they were prior to the test. If one of the preprogrammed settings works that's great. For me the hearing test is a waste of time.
I do the hearing test and nothing happens. The info says that the screen will clear and values will be displayed but nothing happened. I tried the hearing test 3 times. Feedback?
I seems to reduce my tinnitus. The music is very relaxing. I use it with a blue tooth headset. I am looking forward to the results after 6 months.
Never used it... Why does this app need access to my Google files? Wanted to try this, but not at the expense of giving away all my information.
I used it once for awhile, but it was confusing to me. Do you have the Alleviater for Dummies edition?
- It doesn't open - Asking to make payment without a chance to try it. - It should be free at least 30 days before subscription. - Make phone call to have support without try it doesn't make sense.
App is good, the only issue I have with it is not being able to play music on a loop. If this function was added it would be 5 stars.
It helps me to sleep or when i am a quiet place
The music keeps stopping after about 5-8mins. Reloaded the app like customer service said and it played for 15 min then stopped.
Have been trying it a few days, relaxing, but the music glitches. Almost like scratches on a vinyl record. It's annoying while trying to use. Digital music has been around a long time, hard to believe they can't get it to work properly.
Initial impression after 45 minutes- immense improvement in the hissing portion of my tinnitus. Still have ringing, and a wavelike pulsing noise, but the static hiss is reduced to almost imperceptible levels. Note: if you cant stand classical style music, this app is not for you.
Was looking for something, anything for relief. Tinnitis has been worse than usual recently. I heard about Neuromonics, but the cost is so high. I found that sometimes I had some periods when it seemed a little less after using this app. That's more than I can say for many other things I have tried. Worth a try. Hope this helps.
$25 a month? No way will I ever pay that. You can't even try it without creating an account. Uninstalling it now. Waste of my time.
Doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy s7 edge
I can only get profile one on my Lg5
This is a great app. It helps a lot to reduce the tinnitus level. Thanks for everything
It's all fine and well to want to charge for a subscription however if the option exists to take a hearing test to ensure you are choosing the correct profile than that should work. Test completed and audiogram values never show.
After months of research and trying different treatments and methods for my elderly mum We stumbled upon this one and just the smile on mums face when it worked made this invaluable.. And after a few hiccups as the program was new we made contact with the makers and happily they stand behind their program as all problems were resolved as soon as possible. Thanks guys
Spelling errors on first page will "bend in with your tinnitus".. sigh. Just music with a hissing noise in the background which is more predominant than the tinnitus. $25 a month. Stop trying to rip people off. Was worth a download but Neuromonics is a bit more complex than mobile phone app.
Takes time and patience to notice effect. Works for me. This is the first time I am getting the relief I need from the ringing in my ears. Looking forward to more relief over time.
App stopped working 5 days after installation. Emails to technical support result in no replies. Disappointed.
Says it's installed but it's not, no way to uninstall it since it says it's installed. Horrible experience.
Very poorly done.
Looking forward to being able to use different music tracks. Of the 4 current tracks I like 3 the best.
For a 3.1 rating, why should I pay? Whatever happened to "free trial."
Never worked right for my Samsung S5
Not free as advertised

I do think it's helping. But I'm disappointed the personal music add on isn't available yet for Android users. Listening to the same tracks day after day for several hours is boring and tiresome. Therefore at this time it only gets 4 stars.
