About Tinnitus Alleviator

Tinnitus Alleviator is a proprietary tinnitus management application that will lower tinnitus awareness by 40-50%. This is not a masker or white noise generator that is offered by other companies – our application is so much more. Only Neuromonics offers the first application to manage your tinnitus at a low level.

Reduce buzzing, ringing, hissing and clicking sounds of the ear using audio therapy. A proven, effective treatment for tinnitus, Tinnitus Alleviator uses customized audio tracks to retrain the brain, decreasing awareness and prominence of ringing or buzzing sounds. Tinnitus relief is one click away- start your free 14 day trial by downloading now. And use it for the entire 14 days – we are certain you will find benefit if you use it for 2 – 4 hours a day for the full 14 days!

Tinnitus Alleviator is brought to you by Neuromonics, Inc., a leading provider of patented and clinically proven medical devices designed for tinnitus relief. A proud member of the American Tinnitus Association, a global leader in the research and development of tinnitus treatments, Neuromonics works closely with physicians and audiologists to effectively address individuals suffering from this condition. We recommend visiting a healthcare provider to further assist you in your tinnitus treatment.

Users of this app listen to spectrally modified music designed to retrain the brain to ignore the ringing sounds and stop reacting negatively to them. Using an in-app hearing test, Tinnitus Alleviator allows you to customize the four sound tracks to best decrease your awareness or prominence of the ringing or buzzing you hear.

Bluetooth Earphones and Hearing Aids/Amplifiers:
Bluetooth earphones and hearing aids have made great improvements in the quality of sound that is being emitted to the user. However the Bluetooth frequency response is slightly downgraded when compared to a wired earphone option which may result in distorted/downgraded music quality. Users that have a Bluetooth enabled device may stream Tinnitus Alleviator through their Bluetooth hearing aids or earphones.

Recommendation for use:
Experience has shown that listening through earphones for 2-4 hours per day - and for several months (6-8 months) - significantly improves the outcomes in managing your tinnitus. Accordingly, we highly recommend that you listen to the app for each day of your free trial period.

Features:
* Proprietary sound therapy that retrains the brain
* Three pre-selected profiles for quick relief
* Hearing level test to create your audiogram
* Ability to customize the app based on your audiogram
* Adjustable neural stimulus levels
* Tinnitus management
* Relief from tinnitus
* Daily elapsed time tracker
* Not a masker

I do think it's helping. But I'm disappointed the personal music add on isn't available yet for Android users. Listening to the same tracks day after day for several hours is boring and tiresome. Therefore at this time it only gets 4 stars.

Guys when is the version going to be available like the Apple one where we can play our own music, you keep saying it will be ready in about a month? I keep paying the same price as an Apple user and I get half the functionality, can you please give us a firm date because I'm not going to keep paying until the update is ready, thank you

I really like this app. It does quiet down the ringing. I would like to play longer than 60 minutes. Does the unlimited version allow you to listen more than 60 minutes at a time. Would give more star if I could n

I tried to do the hearing test, so I went to a quiet place and went through all the tones and pressed the big red rectangle as the app instructs, at the completion nothing else happened. The screen did not clear and there was no populating of info. So I tried a second time with the same results. Well basically I wasted my time trying to get the app customized for me...the app has an issue.

It's good over all I can't hear the ringing but is it really possible that this could get rid of my tinnitus? I honestly just have it on my left ear and it's so annoying my hearing is good just the ringing ruins it anyways thank you

R70%
by R####:

Did the hearing test, but first looked at the audiometric setting in the custom setting. Like others, the screen never auto cleared. I clicked back to the Custom Setting and the values were exactly what they were prior to the test. If one of the preprogrammed settings works that's great. For me the hearing test is a waste of time.

I do the hearing test and nothing happens. The info says that the screen will clear and values will be displayed but nothing happened. I tried the hearing test 3 times. Feedback?

P70%
by P####:

I seems to reduce my tinnitus. The music is very relaxing. I use it with a blue tooth headset. I am looking forward to the results after 6 months.

Never used it... Why does this app need access to my Google files? Wanted to try this, but not at the expense of giving away all my information.

I70%
by I####:

I used it once for awhile, but it was confusing to me. Do you have the Alleviater for Dummies edition?

U70%
by U####:

- It doesn't open - Asking to make payment without a chance to try it. - It should be free at least 30 days before subscription. - Make phone call to have support without try it doesn't make sense.

U70%
by U####:

App is good, the only issue I have with it is not being able to play music on a loop. If this function was added it would be 5 stars.

U70%
by U####:

It helps me to sleep or when i am a quiet place

U70%
by U####:

The music keeps stopping after about 5-8mins. Reloaded the app like customer service said and it played for 15 min then stopped.

U70%
by U####:

Have been trying it a few days, relaxing, but the music glitches. Almost like scratches on a vinyl record. It's annoying while trying to use. Digital music has been around a long time, hard to believe they can't get it to work properly.

U70%
by U####:

Initial impression after 45 minutes- immense improvement in the hissing portion of my tinnitus. Still have ringing, and a wavelike pulsing noise, but the static hiss is reduced to almost imperceptible levels. Note: if you cant stand classical style music, this app is not for you.

Was looking for something, anything for relief. Tinnitis has been worse than usual recently. I heard about Neuromonics, but the cost is so high. I found that sometimes I had some periods when it seemed a little less after using this app. That's more than I can say for many other things I have tried. Worth a try. Hope this helps.

$25 a month? No way will I ever pay that. You can't even try it without creating an account. Uninstalling it now. Waste of my time.

I can only get profile one on my Lg5

U70%

This is a great app. It helps a lot to reduce the tinnitus level. Thanks for everything

J70%
by J####:

It's all fine and well to want to charge for a subscription however if the option exists to take a hearing test to ensure you are choosing the correct profile than that should work. Test completed and audiogram values never show.

After months of research and trying different treatments and methods for my elderly mum We stumbled upon this one and just the smile on mums face when it worked made this invaluable.. And after a few hiccups as the program was new we made contact with the makers and happily they stand behind their program as all problems were resolved as soon as possible. Thanks guys

Spelling errors on first page will "bend in with your tinnitus".. sigh. Just music with a hissing noise in the background which is more predominant than the tinnitus. $25 a month. Stop trying to rip people off. Was worth a download but Neuromonics is a bit more complex than mobile phone app.

Takes time and patience to notice effect. Works for me. This is the first time I am getting the relief I need from the ringing in my ears. Looking forward to more relief over time.

App stopped working 5 days after installation. Emails to technical support result in no replies. Disappointed.

Says it's installed but it's not, no way to uninstall it since it says it's installed. Horrible experience.

Looking forward to being able to use different music tracks. Of the 4 current tracks I like 3 the best.

For a 3.1 rating, why should I pay? Whatever happened to "free trial."
