Netflix for Android
I have been trying to use this on my 4k tv and Mibox. Error code tvq-mp-100. I dont know who to blame for this but its getting a little ridiculous between Xiaomi and Netflix we cant get a fix out there. If only i could give No Stars!!!!
I've been using Netflix happily for years. However, after buying an Android TV box (mi box), it doesn't work. There are many users with this problem. It needs to be fixed. I get the error message: "We're having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select a different title." (tvq-mp-100)
Doesn't play video on Mi Box 3 . I did a search for this issue and a lot of people are experiencing the same thing. Hit play on a video, it looks like it's caching it. Then it errors with "We're having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select a different title." (tvq-mp-100)
Wish this worked like all other Google Cast enabled apps (in my case, NVIDIA Shield TV). This is the only one that I know of that doesn't support casting from a phone/device or PC. Attempting to Google Cast from another device will just prompt the profile selection screen even if I am logged into the same account and profile on the TV . Selecting a profile and attempting to cast again doesn't work either as the app on the device or PC times out with an error. A huge step back from the Chromecast which is 1/4 of the price a decent Android TV set-up costs.
Doesn't play video on Mi Box 3 or any android box version with this version of Netflix installed. Hit play on a video, it looks like it's caching it. Then it errors with "We're having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select a different title." (tvq-mp-100)
No auto frame rate switching (we want to see films in their proper frame rate if our TV's support it, eg. 24p)!!!! Autoplay when reading details of a movie sucks, who told you that was a good idea?!!!! App is not appearing on the new multitask menu with Android Nougat (7)
I can't see any videos for more than 20 seconds on my Xiaomi Mi Box. I got the Tvq-mp-100 error. Netflix help center says they are working to solve the problem.
Unable to watch videos on Xiaomi Mi Box Android TV receiving error tvq-pm-100. Followed all recommendations from Netflix online help with no success. Running Netflix version 3.3.2 build 1530 on Android TV 6.0.1. Seems to be an issue on most of these devices sold in the US. Could Netflix Please fix this problem!
Using on nVidia Shield: it works, but... ...I can't use it because it outputs "Dolby Digital Plus" instead of "Dolby Digital". My TV won't decode "Dolby Digital Plus", so... I'm stuck with stereo sound instead of Dolby Digitial 5.1. no...I can't afford to buy a new receiver, be careful if your gear is older than 2 years...
After the update, stream info overlay display on the top left corner of the screen with video resolution, sound format and other stream details not showing anymore by pressing the "i" button on the remote.Sony Bravia XD85 Series.
Not working on the MiBox 3 From Walmart... over 4 months without any solution sideloading the mobile app works, so its the android tv app that has the problem...
Netflix does not work on MI Box. When trying to watch a show I keep receiving an error message. Support from both Netflix and Xiaomi are non existent. Maybe it is time to try another platform.
Doesn't work on my Xiaomi Mi Box. I keep getting an error message after 10-20s into watching a movie.
Does not work on Mi box 3s.
Don't work on my Mi box 3
Does not work with Mi Box.
Doesn't work on MiBox 3
Doesn't play video on Mi Box 3

(tvq-mp-100) This app works just fine on a first gen fire stick with less resources. Please fix this.
This thing crashes a lot. When it works, it's great, I love netflix. But the app is super unstable. Also, their search function doesn't use any of the standard Android stuff and manages to actually be more difficult to use than necessary. Fix these two things and you hit a home run.
A week ago stopped working on my nexus player. The app start but before start the movie the screen goes black and TV say "lost HDMI signal"
While the content is still very good. The app lately got miserable. Constant crashes, unresponsiveness and sporadic app restarts.
Where did the broadcast quality information button on Philips PUG7100 TVs go? The "i" button worked until a few days ago.
Crashes after about 15 seconds of play on Nexus Player / Android 7.0.
Horrible stability on Nexus Player.
It is generally a nice application. But latest update on android TV (nvidia shield TV) is buggy. After one or 2 video sessions it suddenly shows red X saying they cannot playback the video, You have to put nvidia shield on stand by or restart it to solve this issue. This is really annoying. I never had such problems on any platform before than this with netflix.
Unstable. If I have NVidia sharing enabled (i.e., system camera) it just displays a red "X" and refuses to play content, because it thinks I'm stealing it by using an inbuilt system process.
4K and HDR are both work in this version but Netflix HDR doesn't look as good as local HDR. Recently i've been getting lots of "We're having trouble playing this title at the moment"
Interestingly My Netflix app for Android tv, (Mi BOX) Does not list hdr, nor UHD programming. And my mi box android tv is official, with android tv official from google.
App is pretty good, works very well in my Shield Android TV. Although I wish I don't have to click 'Continue Watching' every now and then while I continuously play some TV series. Giving only 4 stars because the app sometimes stops without any notice, no crash report, nothing. It just quits ! Hope Netflix team would fix this soon. Update 21-Aug-2016: the app just keeps crashing every now and then. By now I have sent about a hundred crash report and still no fix. Reducing from 4 stars to 2 stars.
Doesn't work anymore. Split screen apears and other than using some G for password nothing is happening. I've rebooted the TV, close the app from Settings >> Apps >> Netflix >> Force close. Nothing works anymore. I've waited 60 seconds in this split screen. Usual it takes 5-10 seconds before starting. Now you broke it. Device: Sony Bravia KD x8505.
After it working well. Now it crashes all the time again. The quality is not good on the android tv.
I love Netflix on all my devices, especially Android TV (4K programs on: XBR65X850C; XBR43X830C) But bedroom dumb tv has a Razer Forge TV and Netflix isn't installable.
Doesn't support the basic functionality of being able to search across libraries in Android TV. Supports voice search in app but not at home screen with the search cards.
No longer works with top level voice search on AndroidTV. No more Netflix results on Google Now search cards. App was supposed to be getting "in app" voice search, but now no voice search results at all. (Plex and Hulu work)
It's been terrible since the April update. Crashes and skipped framerates. Downgraded to January update and it's better. Cm on netflix. I've submitted logs dozens of times a week.
App is missing voice search and android tv indexing, content can not get searched from the home screen. No recommendations are placed on home screen. The app has the occasional crashes. Add option to disable autoplay / background play.
Can't play any shows or movies and Netflix support tries to blame it on me saying "the connection to [my] android box is being blocked by the data from old movies and shows streamed on it that were supposed to be deleted from the network". I was then recommended to ask my ISP to "do a full reset of [my] network". Maybe someone can make sense of this garbage recommendation.
Netflix what have you done???? Used to work ok (well the 5.1 sound didn't work very well, was clipping a lot). Now there is no 5.1 at all and the app crashes systematically after about 30 minutes of playing. It started crashing right about at the date you updated the sw. It's unusable now. Fix it Netflix!!!

Can't get past the login screen, the password field is broken. I've tried several different hardware and software methods. Trying to use the AndroidTV app to copy my password in, results in a jumble of duplicated characters that don't represent the original copy. Other apps are fine with the remote app. Certain special characters in the built in app keyboard don't seem to work - the character representation bullets don't increase when used and sometimes decrease(!) when tapping on characters. Above a certain amount of characters, inputing characters sometimes just doesn't register.
