Netflix

As of the new samsung software updates today 21/5/17 - the app doesnt work at all! Trying to log in with my details (definitely correct) and all i get is a constant error message! I'm definitely connected to the internet, it seems to be a problem with the app itself. The netflix help site isnt much use either.

The app is not working at the moment on the new Samsung update. It keeps giving me error. What's wrong? I'd appreciate some help, and hopefully a solution. Thank you

Update 5/21/17: Uh, oh. The Netflix programmers are at it again. Can no longer play on my Nexus 7. Luckily, Google TV is doing fine. Keeps disconnecting from Chromecast so tablet functions become inoperable.

It stopped letting me use my chromecast, need that back as I dont like using my HDMI adapter. Not just Netflix, but all chromecast related apps. IOS works fine, must be android.

This app used to work, but now it's a POS. It keeps giving an error because my Kyocera Duraforce isn't compatible with come corporate list. Looks like I'll be discontinuing my Netflix account.

Quality shows, meh movies available, unreliable at times to load, willful as a toddler at times. But mostly mostly not bad.

I'm on the shield k1 tablet and it crashes my tablet after leaving the app requiring me to restart pleas fix.

I think that Netflix is the best app. I love ALL the movies they have. It's easy to use and my daughters love heartland. She's watched every episode.

It does not work on neither of my devices. Just the error saying could not reach netflix server

It told me to download a compatible version I did that and didn't work if you have Android 5.0 or lolipop same thing it won't work for. You

It used to be good but now it never let's me login to my account and says can connect to server

I love it but now when I try to open it on my phone i get 1.20 error code

I love this but i experience massive frame drops on my pixel. Keep in mind my audio still plays.

Must have provision to remove unliked shows from "Continue watching" ....it really sucks

The app is a five star but it's casting device make it a one. You guys should look into YouTube how they cast it's much better and easier. There are too many casting buttons on Netflix one goes at the top of your phone and one goes at the bottom and it it doesn't allow you to control the app very well. For everything else this is a five star app again. My hopes of making it a one start app it's because I hope that this will be six and I can make feather review later once it's fixed.

Love the content, and am happy with the Netflix service as a whole. The app however, was working fine on my phone until the last update, which happened automatically, with no warning that my device was no longer supported in the new version. Now I can't use the app, and Netflix wants me to compromise my device security by enabling app installs from noon play store sources, and download an older version from their website. This is total BS. My phone isn't that old, Xperia Z2. Guess I'll be watching more prime video for a while.

I have used this app for years. I had a hard time longing in tonight. I finally called and got on the phone with a lady names Christine. She was an amazing help! It took about an hour but I was able to log back in, and she even emailed me a list of steps to do incase this happens again! 5 stars! 100%

I think this app is very cool and help me to see my series and films by my cellphone. But i think there is not so manny films like I will like. So please, show some films people will like ok? I love you netflix. (Ps.: your new atualization, were you can do the download of the films and everything helps me so mutch on my travels. So thanks)

App is good . Love Netflix. Just wish I had more controll over the suggested movies n I really wish I could clear the "continue to watch" sections. Obviously it's full a stuff I got bored with n stopped watching for a reason. Also I would love to be able to connect with friends, send my own suggestions to them or arrange dates to watch a movie together even tho they are in a different country .... Just a few ideas of mine

Doesn't work it says check connectivity and update date & time. I did that. I tried everything. Cant even open just get error. Why isn't it working...please fix or explain how to. Other than this it is good on my TV. Update ...still doesn't work on tablet. Get the same message as months ago...wthell

Great service great price. Absolutely bs that Netflix would in effect ban rooted phones from downloading it's app in playstore. I'm on a Galaxy S4. Without root my phone would be running on security updates from 2015 and still be on 4.4.4. I'm now trying to find a comparable service that isn't so big they can throw away my business because my phone is rooted. I get it you want to be secure. So do i.

After recent update, the screen will turn off after the set auto screen off period. Only when I start the video from the menu, if I pause and play again after it starts, no problem. Also, some downloaded episodes are becoming unavailable as soon as I play them rather than after the few days it used to. Currently have very limited wifi access, so if I don't finish an episode, I have to go renew it to continue watching.

Works on my OnePlus Two in SD(as it is passes CTS and is L3, which is lucky as some phones will never pass and they are SOL). Works on my Nexus7 2013 in HD as it should as it is on the whitelist. Dropping uncertified devices is an ILL informed move as Widevine is handled at the hardware level. No amount of software mods will change that.
