SMS Gateway (GCM SMS)

This app transforms your Android mobile device into a SMS gateway to send and receive text messages. It is an efficient, stable solution and ideal for integrating SMS capabilitites into any software solution. The entire communication between the mobile device and your server is based on Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) to provide fault tolerance and stability.

Incoming Text Messages (Inbound SMS):

All incoming text messages are automatically and instantly pushed to your server through the GCM service. Your server receives the timestamp, mobile number and text for further processing.

Outgoing Text Messages (Outbound SMS):

To send a SMS your server simply pushes a message to your mobile device via the GCM. The app receives the GCM-message and sends out the SMS.

This app is FREE so you can easily test and integrate it into your system! The free version has no limitations except that only the first 30 characters of incoming and outgoing messages will be left untouched. The rest of the messages will be overwritten with a default text keeping the original lenght of the message. For production use please select "Unlock App" from the menu.
