About B#SIDE WAR
B#SIDE WAR is an artistic and cultural Festival branded “IoDeposito” distributed in various places of the world, especially in Europe – radiating outward North-East Italy and Slovenian Istria artistic exhibitions and installations, performing events, talks and conferences, researches and publications and special events – involving also Belgium, France, Austria, USA, Canada, Australia and several other countries.
Designed with the main scope of investigating the legacies and heritages that relate the XXth century conflicts to our everyday life, the B#SIDE WAR project was then devoted to the analysis of the relationship between the Human Being and war as well as an examination of the kinship between our war’s past and the vision of the world we nowadays have.
Key themes for the third edition of the festival are: captivity, prisons, multi-vocal and poly-focal vision of history.
The third edition of the Festival will take place thanks to the contribution of 68 contemporary artists from 39 different countries, 18 museum directors and 30 researchers from 5 continents.
