FREE Irish Gaelic by Nemo

I paid for this app awhile ago it's ok but i found the free apps better. I don't believe this is worth the money.

AMAZING!!! FANTASTIC!! LOVE IT!! I especially love the bit where I can hear the sound of the words!! Exactly how to say them!! It's just GREAT!! THANKS!! This is an amazing app, a MUST HAVE, for any person wanting 2 learn the language!! I asked someone who DID speak Irish/Gaelic, and they agreed, the pronunciation is CORRECT!! THANKS!!

Oh my gosh!!! I thought I was saying things right...wow...what a difference from what I thought to what really is the dialect!! So awesome!!!!

I own a Irish to English dictionary,but,couldn't comprehend the pronunciation. This app is a blessing for me. Slan!

If you have purchased the full app and you didn't get it, simply unistall and re-install.

A fantastic app! I could wish for a couple of different dialects, or at least knowing which one I'm hearing on the app, but other than that, perfect to get you going.

Very few phrases, mostly just words. Good for basic learning. Is the only Irish Gaelic phrasebook I can find.

It didn't have the alphabet and pronunciation is tricky at first until you've been listening a while. But very good way to start learning!!

I have learned 14 languages in 30 years but if I had found an app like this it would have only taken 15 years Lol.... The Chinese version is also so good for a really really tough language to learn, it's a walk on the park with Nemo.... I'll give it 6 stars out of 5 !

This is the first app that I have wanted to purchase ever! I now have a way to compare my sounding of Gaeilge to how it is actually pronounced.

Its awsome because it actually helps you speak Irish and I'm part irish

I was hoping for a better, more accurate version of Google Translate but unfortunately this app is not what I needed. For native speakers who have learned the language since the age of 4/5 this app isn't helpful unless you have forgotten junior infants Irish. However it seems very useful for anyone that is knew to the Irish language and is only looking to speak it rather than write. I am very impressed by the depth the app goes into and by the pronouciations of the voice over lady. Defo give it a try!

I just switched from ios to android and this app is super lacking compared to the ios version. I really hope there are some updates soon that add the different player options.

I have tried many language apps and language software and Nemo is the best! Simple and fun. I can't wait to download other languages! It would have got 5 if it were the same as the apple version. I love the player on that one and the multiple player options like the movie8 that plays each card 8 times while I do other things. AND the ability to slow down the speed of the phrases.

Not that there are many apps out there like this, but I find this is a very broad use app. the only thing that detracts from a perfect score? First, the audio is a bit confusing, but hey! it's difficult enough with Irish Gaelic, so it's almost excusable...however, add to it that I have tried to purchase the full app on a number of occasions, but there is some bug in the way. Maybe not a bad thing...but perfect functionality across the board would have received a score to reflect it :)

Just downloaded App, then taught myself, and my mum, to say 'hello': the first members of our family to speak this language in hundreds of years! Thank-you.

It's got loads of useful terms and the flash cards are fantastic, however some kind of pronunciation guide would be useful as the audio is said incredibly fast and it can be difficult to catch what she is saying

I absolutely love this app! It teaches all the basic phrases needed to know if one ends up traveling to Ireland, even tho they also speak English, it would be useful to know some basic phrases in Irish Gaelic.

This is an excellent app to learn Irish words had great fun with son learning and testing each other this is fun and so easy to learn better than an Irish class

It is easy to use and pretty good sounds not too mechanical, with practice I will learn how to speak another language with this app

Using nemo along with other apps gives me a well rounded curriculum for a language that doesnt have as many apps or software as other languages.

But it lacks of some plurals, if not all of them. Nevertheless is a great pocket reminder for those of us who are rusty. And a good accessory tool for those who want to learn. Some very important words like, for instance, "sex" (in any of its forms) are not there. Something that, of course, should be fixed.
