FREE Hebrew by Nemo

The dynamic this app uses to help someone seeking to learn a new language is ideal to perfect pronunciation. It is an idea I had thought about when -at some point in my life- I was trying to help someone to perfect their english. Consists of -with a recorder- recording the right way to pronounce something so they can hear it and then allowing the person to record themselves so they can compare and then fix the part which they are mispronouncing.

One of the best, but the free part is too short. The index is very useful. But there is a major drawback which is you don't give the PAST form of verbs. The infinitive mode doesn't give us the ROOT which is crucial in learning Hebrew. And if you want to search "I saw her ...", the answer is "NO RESULT FOUND" for "saw".Of course, I bought the full version. PLEASE give the past form, along the infinitive mode, of all verbs listed in Nemo, plus future and imperative. NO ANSWER TO MY MAILS. SO DISAPPOINTING ...

This app is great for translation from English to Hebrew, I think that the $10.00 version is probably fantastic for study. There is one question though, why are so many apps, pronouncing some of these things so much differently?

I'm glad I got the paid version. I was looking for a transliteral dictionary or something. This app contains every phrase and word you need to learn how to communicate, and I can stay home and study flashcards, or search for a phrase real quick when I'm with Israelis and dont know how to say a simple thing

This app is soooooo good, the pronunciation is lively and it makes me feel that I am changing heritages,the repetitions are excellent to keep you on your toes. Would like to be able to converse on this program some how but thanks for all the work done to give this to us.

Tov toda good thank-you but your translation says "I'm fine" which makes me question what I will learn. Although the meaning may be similar they are still different words.

Shalom! From the first few minutes I used it, I knew this was the right app to use. It's user friendly, the voice is easy to understand, and is in my opinion, the best way to learn any new language. 5 stars, and purchased the full version as soon as I could. Toda raba Nemo!!

Apparently Tov Toda means both "I'm fine " and "good thankyou". Difficult to recommend this app when you can't translate two words without contradicting yourself .

Excellent! I love this app. An especially great feature to aid in pronunciation is the audio provided for each word or phrase. In addition, the option to practice speaking a word and check it is great. The app has other useful and easy to use features for someone just beginning to learn Hebrew.

I sit down to study my textbook maybe twice a week. I use nemo every day, so even if it's only 5 minutes, or 3, I'm reinforcing my language skills.

Easy app to use, very user friendly and interactive. A bit pricey for the add-ons, but overall a good value.

Love using as a dictionary but also with pronunciation. Love all the other functions such as flash cards, etc. Very well thought out program. Got the paid version and would like to see more vocabulary. This could be THE goto dictionary if vocabulary is expanded by a wide margin!.

Wonderful app it helped me alot to knowing important basic words of Hebrew use in daily life. May YHWH Barukh who all are evolved in this app making.

Translator with voice tutorials. 5 stars an excellent assistant and great way to learn. Very easy.

Android version is tottaly outdated in comparison with iOS. Now even the screen size is OK. Shame on you.

Brilliant as it can be used on the go so if you have a spare minute (literally one minute) then you can quickly go through 50 would Basic words to build and reinforce your vocabulary.

I have a book on how to learn biblical Hebrew (One used in seminaries), though this has been much more helpful! The full version is definitely worth the money!

Very well developed. I've studied other languages and know the principle to "learn a little, use it a lot.". So, even this beginning version is great. Will be looking into the full version at some point.

It's a great app, the only downside being that you can't copy text from a flashcard to the clipboard, which is needed when you want to look up an individual word in a dictionary or google it.

I love this app. Great phrases and useful words. Pronounciaton works great on my phone and tablet.

I've always wanted to be able to read, speak, and write in Hebrew. This app is lovely, and very helpful! I had used it once before, and switched phones. The android version now is very different from the iPhone version in July 2015, but nonetheless effective. I plan on purchasing the full version. :)

I like having the audio, Hebrew text, translation, and transliteration conveniently stored in my phone and available whenever I have a few moments to practice. Very affordable too.

Very helpful by starting with familiar words and useful basics. Easy to read font.

I was impressed with the free version of this app and was ready to buy the paid version. I had a few questions I needed answered first and sent them email from their app. I have sent them THREE emails and have yet to receive a response. I am so interested in this app. Why won't they respond?

Sadly this version does not have a setting designed to teach you 10 new words each day like the apple version of the app does. At least it has the pronunciations, which is a big help.
