I am able to scan receipes into the app, but the shopping list feature will not work. When I add to shopping list the app says added but when I open up the tab for the list it says it empty. This feature was a big selling point for me to use this app. Probably will just delete and use the paper recipes.

Nothing shows up. So disappointing for a huge company like Hearst to not have a better App. Have they not looked at the App rating and all the issues users are having? And what about extra features for paid subscribers?

Downloaded to my Samsung tablet 3 times trying to get this to work. Used different angles, different lighting, different distances...NOTHING worked. Don't bother..I'm unistalling and won't try again!

Very disappointed with the app. I can't get it to scan anything. Tried so long in many different lights but still won't work. Wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work

I was able to scan icons that month. But not anymore. I know HOW but it just does nothing. I only got the app for the contests. Uninstalling

Won't let me sign up for contests! Have to have app to sing up now for contests. Says my email will not work tried 3x wouldn't take. Scam so sad because my mom begged me to sign up for this so she could enter contests in my magazinr. We can't even enter. Time to get rid of it.

I can't get it to scan the icons, not even the one that states "Set!" below it. One of the raters suggested this. It won't even focus. WE, with a rating of 2.5, you'd think you would fix this app. Useless. Uninstalling.

I never get a chime when I scan the page, no matter how still I hold the tablet, which is a Samsung Galaxy tab a. very disappointed

It keeps saying valid email. Ugh. Scans great but doesn't go through because my email is invalid. Don't even get it.

Scanning WD icon does not work. I guess they don't want you to win any of the gifts. Tried and tried, will not work. Useless app!!

Followed all directions, can't get a chime. Thought it was just me until I read the reviews. Uninstalling

It won't scan good. It doesn't do much. It is hard work doing the free giveaways. Doesn't make much sense.

I knew I shouldn't have installed it from the reviews that I saw. Won't scan at all looked at tutorial and everything I love the magazine and looked forward to getting the app smh sad

Won't accept emails in sweepstakes

Please do something about the quality of this app! It works less than half the time when trying to scan the icon in your magazine. I usually just give up!

The scanner is not working, when I did get it to scan for a contest it said the contest is invalid and it's in the February issue. I can't get the shopping lists either.

I've tried several times to scan a picture to win a product, however it would never scan. Uninstalling.

I've tried several different pages to scan and do exactly what it says but nothing and I know the camera is focusing on the picture cause I see it focusing.

It says to scan the icon. I hover over it in the scan feature and it focuses and that's it. No chime or vibration that it worked and nothing comes up saying anything. I help it for as long as 2 min and nothing .. am I doing something wrong ? Can someone tell me how to do it ?? I'm using a Droid ..maybe it doesn't work with this phone ??

Focused fine. No chime. Used the little light button at the bottom, focused fine. No chime. I think it just reads all the stuff you gave it permission to read, and does nothing else. Never did ask for an email. Uninstalled.

Like most of the others, it will only scan 1 out of several attempts. And like another said, when you want to sign up for a sweepstake it asks you to sign up for 1 free issue of WD and then if you don't cancel they will charge you. I'm already signed up to receive the magazine so I basically can't sign up for anything.

I never write reviews but I'm very disappointed! This app won't work for me at all!! It only shows main screen. It won't scan pictures or show anything else at all. It has a long page saying why it won't work at this time. If not fixed soon I'll uninstall.

Just as everyone else claims, it doesn't work UNLESS you SET it. There is an initial WD icon you must take a snapshot of first (OCT '14 issue, pg13) in the magazine before going to the others throughout the magazine.

Because the page won't let me. This app never worked. Doesn't scan AT ALL. I thought it was me, until I read the reviews. Don't waste your time.

Not at all thrilled. Every time I try to enter the monthly sweepstakes it tells me I need valid email address and re-solicites me to subscribe to magazine. I already subscribe and my email address is valid. Guess I will just uninstall now and assume sweepstakes is a marketing tool that doesnt exist except on paper.

It scans fine for me, but what's the point if the "submit" button doesn't work?! Fix it please!!

I have tried this app twice and it still will not snap the WD symbol .

This app does not work. Just keeps focusing. Please fix!

App doesn't always work. Scan doesn't always work either. Have to renter name, address etc. for each sweepstakes. Not sure if this will ever be fixed.

Loaded with ads. Ads that I'm not interested in and will never be interested in. Scanning icons in mag works fine. Tried to enter contest and it tells me my email is invalid. Check, recheck my email in case I had typo. No I'm correct. Can't enter without valid email. Guess what, I got along without this before and I'll happily get along without now. DELETE!!

Will not accept my email address!!! I have a sudscription so quit trying to trick. .this should be so much easier.
