My Augmented Reality for Android
Great, but needs to have a way to add a place with coordinates
AR view is a little shaky, point likes to disappear. Also any chance of a choice of kilometers / miles?
Suggestions: 1) Add manual adding by GPS coordinates. 2) Cache the GPS data so it doesn't always spend a long time re-acquiring. Take too long when I am adding locations in rapid succession. 3) Ignore GPS readiness when adding location manually. I am adding manually already, so why still need to wait for GPS?
Interesting idea, but not clear how to pick points on the map unless you are there
Worked a bit. Forced closed on switching to map view. On motorola defy 2.1. Location marker screen had blank map section in lower left side.
Great, would be even better with direct input postcodes and grid reference for location setting. Also, multiple locations visible at the same time.
Works great on Evo 3D. Needs ability to search google maps for address to add. Also needs miles and nautical miles distances
Saved locations move around. FC on map view every time. Does not appear to know what direction the phone is facing when using AR. Droid X
Awesome app. Some UI improvements along with accelerometer support and, perhaps, altitude support, would make it perfect. Great work !
Crashes every time i viewed the Places map.
Works great on my samsung galaxy
Nice and simple. Good AR app!
Interesting application, but even after killing the process, it keeps restarting and sucking all my battery.
There's a lot of promise with this app and would love to use it but it FC every time on my Desire, hopefully soon I can download it again.
augmented view force closes every time on nexus one
Very promising! Change icon though... it looks like a golf green!
Nice. But needs to store data on sd card in case user has to one day reset their phone.
Great concept, but the accuracy is in need of improvement before it becomes useful. My waypoints varied by as much as 90 degrees when I moved my nexus 4, not great.
Nice. Improve/beautify the UI and you have a real winner.
Whether moving or standing still, the direction indicator jumps erratically across the screen. No distance indication either. Ugly map view.

Please consider including gps coordinates plus the elevation. Also an option to manually input the elevation of the target. This will be great for point to point antenna alignment!!! It will help installers not just to determine the proper azimuth but also the tilt of the antennas. Many thanks.
Would be good to be able to manually type in gps cords I'm using this to plot out race marks at sea which are beyond sight very handy for racing
It works but I'm not sure how accurate it is ...... but still its cool!
Love to see an auto direction feature: you know, it shows you the quickest route to a destination.
This is EXACTLY what I have been searching for! TOO BAD IT WONT MARK MY LOCATION! Not working for me! I only gave it 2 stars because I loved the idea :(
It said I don't have a rear facing camera, but recognized it after a quick reboot of the phone.
Cool idea, but it's not recognizing my camera. :(
It says I do not have a rear facing camera, but I obviously do. Please fix?
Epic app only thing is that you have to go into the map then go into ar for it to work other that that its great
I feel like I'm playing halo or cod it gives me a real time mini map and everything fantastic app! I can't wait til this is put into a pair of glasses
I like your concept.. but it needs some improvements.. you got 4 stars!
Not the best at locating me... claims I sleep a mile and a half from home. :-( Also, why ask for photos when the app.doesn't place them anywhere.but in the details?
Really like the app but it should have an option for miles...5 stars then.
Always 90 degrees off on both galaxy nexus I have tried. Worked on different phone. Fix GPS issue with nexus for more stars
Just needs miles and feet. Good app.
great and perfect for my work ... on my galaxy nexus unfortunatly the locations are 90 degrees off to the east ... on my Motorola Xoom perfect use this tool to alighn microwave links
Does what it says on the tin.
Directions are off. Worthless really.

lets you move your phone around like a compass and see what's nearby. good to remind you of things to do around you
