When I lock the screen using double tap, after that when I on the screen and use my fingerprint sencor to unlock, it won't open the lock and says that due to security policy update use pattern unlock insted of fingerprint sencor.

After getting Android 6.0 in my oneplus2 whe I apply fingerprint it opens Pattern instead of unlocking phone

I have to use my backup pin to unlock rather than just my fingerprint on the Nexus 5x. Also would be nice to have option to only turn screen off and not lock device. The OS should lock it after the timeout period specified in settings (which I already have to be immediate).

My phone's power button is kind of broken. I can double tap to wake my phone, and double tap on the home screen to lock it with Nova Launcher, but I wanted an app that would display a persistent notification, so I could turn off the screen from anywhere, and not just the home screen. I also wanted it to have a nice looking icon. This was exactly what I was looking for and works perfectly, so, thank you.
