Bounce - Be on Time for Android
My load screen has been stuck on "loading my events". ,I don't have any events yet!?! I thought this was a good idea since I'm always pushing it with time. But I can't even wage a fair opinion because I'm stuck loading these events I don't have.
I've had this installed for weeks now and I find that the only way to consistently get notifications from it is to have Bounce open. I do this each morning for work now so I know when I have to leave. Would be great if it notified me without me having to remember to open it each day
I am notoriously late, and while this app hasn't completely cured me, it's definitely given me a better conception of time and how long it takes me to get somewhere.
Like the app & recommend it to everyone who's always in a hurry to make it to client meetings (by car) on time. App is easy-to-use and allows for adding additional buffer. Been using it for 3 weeks now.. . So far, so good!
Great idea, but doesn't work on the S6. Just hands saying Calculating Travel time. Shame.
Seems to have issues remaining persistent. It's great when it works though. I just can't rely on it.
When it works it works well, but there are some UI issues and it had crashed one out twice on me.
This app has been so incredibly helpful for me when it comes to getting to places on time. I'm still figuring out the various options within the app, however I'm content with the basics for now.
Love ❤ the app. Was fantastic before Google Now. I use it as an extra kick in the pants if I ignore/miss Google Now.
Great idea. Hope Google Now doesn't kill it...
This app helps me get to meetings on time and I love it. The only catch is that I have to remember to put addresses into my calendar when I set appointments.
Keeping in mind that this is a beta app it works great. Helps me keep track of time when out on errand runs. Can't wait until more features are added.
This app needs certain specific inputs (relies on Google calendar, you can't talk to the bounce app directly) and address help (can't take a general address, must be a street number written into the Google calendar). But it gives me a good idea of travel time, which is what I ask of it.
If you're like me and tend to be late getting out the door you'll find this helpful.
...adderssses are never right and you have to open calender app to change anything. Wish it was all in one. Its an excellent idea, just need some fixing
I have so much fun trying to beat the time it says im suppose to arrive.
Now on my Motorola Photon this app has done just as promised. Keep up the good work!
I've had the app installed for several days, and I haven't received a single alert for the app for anything except clarification on an address I entered. Too bad, I really wanted this to be awesome.
Have had app installed for several days, corrected addresses in calendar for app. Not once have I gotten a notification from the app to leave. When in app the only message displayed is "calculating travel time".
This is really usefull, but with google now, it needs to have more features to make it stand out and be worth having. Like at least being able to set your own notifications sounds, so you can distinguish it to know that.. you know, you have to go.
I never get any notification unless I open the application which defeats the purpose of it.
This app, while still a little rough around the edges fills a need most smartphone users have with knowing when to leave for appointments. The only complaint I have is that it occasionally forgets which calendars I want it to monitor, and I need to re de select the ones it shouldn't be monitoring.
While this seems as though it may be useful for those with cars, this would be so much better if an option were included for non-drivers.
interesting, and potentially useful idea, but the intelligence to determine location is rather weak: it cannot detect a phone number, it cannot search and requires a full address. the program also runs all the time, even with no calendars being synched
I import external calendars that often assume location context, it would be nice to assign aliases to these names (for instance a rotary club meeting in the library conference room corresponds to the address of the local library.)
One improvement would be launching navigation to the destination straight from the app.
Bloody brilliant app!
I love the app when i remember to use it! It would be nice to have ignored events removed from the list. Also, I too find that I have to go in and deselect the calendars I want tracked. It's simple enough to do so though.
Great app in theory, which is why I installed it. The first item up in my calendar was a mere 10 min drive one town over. It's been 12 hours and the program is still "calculating travel time". The address is my Google calendar and it opens straight to the address in maps. Can't tell if the address needs to be written a specific way, if I've done something wrong, or if the program just sucks, since the website is nothing more than a promo for the IOs version, where it intends to charge users $100/year.
Helps me get to where I need to go on time!
Wish I would receive notifications when it was time to "bounce" for an event. I have to open the app in order to get that. Needs to be automatic without user intervention.
Great concept. Quite useful. However I had to uninstall because it destroyed battery life. After installing Bounce my phone would be dead a couple hours after taking it off the charger. Will be a great app once that is fixed.
Haven't updated in forever!
Thought this app sounded awesome but never worked properly. Kept saying "calculating travel time"and never once have me travel times. Get back to the lab and try again Bounce people.
Awesome app but Google search (no k ow as Google now) does the same thing now so we don't need this app.
Works great. Unfortunately Google Now does the same thing. Like the ability to add a few extra minutes to account finding parking.
Great idea. Not very smart about locations. Even when google maps can find something it seems to feed a more general address for navigation. Would be nice if tapping red address would allow you to do address lookup in google maps, or edit the event location. I am suspicious that it it still draining my battery even after the update. Have to uninstall to see, and i'm not sure that it is all that useful as is anyway.
I installed this app two weeks ago, and it hasn't notified me of a single appointment yet. It notifies me only when it doesn't recognize a location, which is most of the time. Plus, an app like this should really have pop-up notification, not just a little reminder in the notification bar. Don't know why it works for some when it hasn't worked for me even once. I say try it, but watch out for battery drain, as well.
Use to work great. Thought it was my old phone but even on the Galaxy 4, doesn't work. So disappointing. Downgraded from 5 to 1 star. Really deserves 0. Now sometimes it can't find a valid address. When it did work: Notifies you went you need to leave to drive to your next appointment on your calendar provided you specified the location on the calendar.

I used it every time I have an appointment. Traffic is killer when you don't leave on time, and this simple little app is a life saver for me and my customers. Google Now has something similar, but I find Bounce to be a little more on point sometimes. Thanks dev team. When is this coming out of beta?
