ProCapture for Android
Google Camera has improved a lot, but ProCapture still takes better photos, hands down. I'm guessing that it's gorgeous, practical abandonware now, since the long-promised version 2 was never released. Edit: For my uses, this lovely app has been replaced by A Better Camera.
Was my favourite camera app, but now just abandonware. Dev never released promised v2 update. I regret paying for this, don't make the same mistake.
Free version was great so bought pro and it keeps freezing every time I use it, using Sony E5 please fix error.
For snapshots it just needs to go click. Right? Stock android seems fine to me. Composing a picture with a mobile isn't easy, no matter what app you have or not have. This one, as it goes, is OK if not better. It possesses useful settings. I have no licencing problems and the front Camera works too btw. if I want a better app I use my DSLR . (;
The pictures in playstore seems that it has more than 20+ features. But, guess what I got only iso and auto mode for scene mode. Would you please give the activation code if you have one? Mine is so limited and doesn't seem like it's activated.
Don't buy these peoples apps because they stop development after awhile and create a whole new app and make you buy the new one if you want more updates. This one has no Marshmallow support. Bad developer. NEeast Studios should be blackballed.
I have a good sized SD card in my phone and it won't let me save to the SD card. Claims that the phone is blocking 3rd party apps from saving to card. Looking for a workaround or the setting that will let me change this on my phone. The app has nice features that are easy to navigate, but if I can't save the photos where I want, I most likely won't use this app. :(
Nice features easy to use. i good improvement compared to the standard app that is getting worse for every edition. The app can not save on SD card where everyone except google wants photos to be stored. I know this is not the fault of the app but google does not allow any critisism..m
This app is Must Have for users using Moto 5G Plus. I was able to take night pictures without shake and the results were unbelievable. I had a lot of trouble with focus in night situations using the camera software that came with Nougat. Please practice before use and must click to focus in the area of the screen before taking a picture.
This used to be amazing, but it doesn't work anymore. I paid for the pro because it was so good, and now I can't use it without it freezing before it's even taken a photo. On Marshmallow, so not sure if that's got something to do with it...
I cannot describe how important this app has been and how much more amazing it makes my photos. I am shooting pictures from a horrible 4mp camera with nothing to make it impressive e.g. ultrapixels. However, with this app I have had people ask me which camera I use. I say I use a smartphone and they are awestruck. EDIT: No update in 6 months... Disappointed.
Have used Procapture religiously for a few years now. Great app, but sadly have to give it up as it won't work with an external SD card under Marshmallow on my new S7, and won't go to resolutions above 8MP. Hopefully it'll be fixed one day.
Wrote them requesting a update : Please note that the app has stayed in active development for about 4 years. Unfortunately, the app has severely declined in sales since Google released their Google Camera app for free and doesn't generate any significant income anymore to support further work on it, especially that there's now a new camera api in Android and to use it the app needs a complete rewrite . Sincerely, NEast Studios support. Seems there is NOT going to be any.
App workded fine for years, but since tha last update it just freeze my device when I select the ap. Have to pull the battery to restart my device. Sansung Note 4. Pleae fix this issue asap.
I bought the full version and still pop up ads are on the bottom of my screen. Find a solution to remove them or I'll have to ask for a refund. Otherwise than that it's a very robust app.
Decided to buy this app after reading the many reviews praising this as THE best camera app. It does takes fine pictures, but not being able to zoom by pinching is to me a major design flaw that I can't live with. One can only guess what developers were thinking when they decided that zoom should be operated by a slider operated by left hand that first has to be activated by tapping??
Dear developer I have purchased this app and bought 21 mp camera mobile but your app supports a meager 2 mp max , what a heartbreak, fix it in your immediate update plz , so that I can give 5 star
The camera shutter has a tremendous delay before clicking on my galaxy 5. evening pictures come out dark and shadowed. I wish I had not wasted my money.
but I could also use a camera level indicator on the display screen so I don't have to agonise over horizons and tall straight things.
i use Xperia M4 Aqua 5.0 Android i try to setting the app to save pictures on my SDCard but it still save internal storage and i like portait Panorama because i use on my work. i not found what is the app can do like this pdlease fix for 5.0 please and HDR won't work it's struck when shoot the picute Please FIX!!
This app is, without question, the best camera app on the Play Store. I've been through dozens as my Moto X 2014 has a crappy camera software. This app provides picture processing that is comparable or superior to my previous iOS experience with a iPhone 5s on my Moto X 2014. Spend the money; you'll be glad you did.
Better quality photos than my my Stock Sony Xperia camera app "at 8mp that is" ! I've got the paid version so Why can I only go up to 8mp photo resolution when my camera is capable of 23mp!? This is why I've given only 3 stars
Good app.I use it several times in diff situations and conds. Works well.Only weakest feature is - quite slow pic processing after shot is taken.Othervise really cool app.Can recomend.
It's no doubt that this is the best camera app. But photo capture speed is very slow. Maybe auto focus takes more time to focus it. There is no update for last one year. Really disappointing. May be their app is lagging on new Android versions. Need an update badly.

This is a really good camera app - after trying a lot. In addition to camera features and intuitive interface I appreciate that it does NOT exhibit the silly front-camera quick-exchange button. I had previously complained about the online license check but I acknowledge this is done only once, sorry. Still not really needed after purchasing, right?
After more than a year, neither the promised fixes or v2 were released. First there was a mess when the devs tried to charge for a v2 of the same app, then they recognized it was a bad move and said would continue updating and upgrading the original app for all customers, now they moved to "camera zero" app (or should I say a new way to charge for v2 with a new name?) and seems this became an abandoned project.
Saved my Note 3!!! The Samsung Note 3 has the worst stock camera. I was getting SO frustrated. Pro Capture was suggested in one of the forums. This is the best $3.99 I've spent in a long time. The pictures are bright and sharp.I am just amazed! And it has lots of settings.I like the'torch' flash setting. Man, everyone should sick r the stock and use Pro Capture! I don't know what else to say except THANKS!
No complaints with quality, this new version of ago however has no zoom feature. Cannot zoom before you snap, cannot even zoom in on pics you've taken with our opening then on another app.
The date in the properties of pictures taken today indicate 2002.
This is my favorite app for photography. If it were possible, I would make it be the default camera. I really like being able to just touch the screen to take a pic.
Dont waste your time with the stock app this is a million times better srs should had been standerd in this phone dont take my word test it broskii
Wonder if there is an update some time to a really good app, esp. Allowing to take videos and pinch to zoom. The later I really miss.
I use this app on an Xperia Neo with the legit Android 4.0.4 build. The photos come out well (macro especially) but the whole phone freezes almost every time I use it and I have to reboot the phone. Reboots take a long time when this app has been used. I paid for it but I might remove it from the phone.
I was hoping it would improve focus time and shutter speed on my nexus 5. It didn't
So this application works very well for the Moto X Pure Edition 2015. Really like having touch to focus back and this must have great noise reduction because indoor shoots are much better and not so oily looking. My one complaint is that for some reason the app will not allow me to change to 21 megapixels, seems to have 13 megapixels as highest setting. Can you fix? Thanks for all your work!
So far the best I have used... Didn't bother with the free app, I try to always support the Devs..
Like this app very much. Compared to my other camera app the pictures are darker unless you change the aperture which is a bit of a nuisance when you want to take spontaneous pics without taking time to fiddle with the settings. However, the pictures are consistently sharper than my other camera apps so that of course is the bottom line. Better to get a sharp photo and I can always adjust the contrast or brightness before or after the shot.

Do not pay for this app! It doesn't fix any of the issues with the free version. Waste is money!
