Nearify - Discover Events

Update : wasn't internet but fb revoke probably caused that prb. I was able to install/browse by the time I wrote this however seemed to me FB Auth token prb. Tnx for feedback, I revised my review. Reason might be I've limited info that I share with the app but than gave full permission even friend list but still getting error can't sign in and unable to use app /

Doesn't work. Tried signing in with Facebook. Just kicked me back to the sign-in screen. Okay, sign in with Google. Enter profile information. Hit the location information screen. Invalid token. Okay. Let's try it one more time with no profile information. Invalid token. Alright. We can forget about personalization. Let's just see the events as a guest. Enter in location information one more time aaaaand invalid token.

It's a great little app, with localisation as its USP. I wish that the push to select one's interests were more gradual. Also, a peer level vetting of events advertised/ posted in the events column would add to the reliability of the app.

It's a nice app. But the time in the description and the calander is often not correct. For example, in a recent food truck festival, everbrite says 11am to 7pm. But in the app it says 12pm to 8pm. When I add it to the calendar, it says 1pm to 9pm. There must be a bug in some place.

App is based on a good idea and UI is not bad. Only thing is, not sure why, after a couple of days I need to log in again and everything reset and I need to re-choose all my interests. My personal data are not saved. Quite annoying. If it won't get fixed I probably have to give up this app.

I have my location set to Richmond, VA (also my GPS location). But it's only showing me results for San Francisco. Could use support since I'd really like to use the app

Used to be awesome. But now just constantly says 'no events', no matter what city I look in. Not sure what changed but if you bring the old app back I'll be happy to use that one. This one is useless though.

The app will not let me log in, not with Google or Facebook or manual entry. Would love to keep but it's useless like this. I have a Galaxy S6; if there is a fix, would love to update my review.

The app won't work at all, I can't get past the homepage, the links to sign in don't seem to work as clicking them does nothing and if I log in as guest then I can only get as far as enering my location before it says 'invalid token' and I can't get any further. Shame as it was a great app before the update.

Only just started using this yesterday but so far it looks great. I'm kind of new to the city and uncreative with ideas what to do. I'm hoping this will help change that and keep me from hibernating alone in my tiny apartment all winter.

I'm not sure what happened to this wonderful app, but apparently every location has been zapped of their events. This app used to be booming with events, now it's nothing but a ghost town. If it still worked, this app would be a 9/10 easily.

Samsung note 5- Used to work great but every time I've used it the last few weeks it won't do a single thing. Updated it once but still doesn't work. Definitely Uninstalling

I love this app, except for now I can't get beyond the location page because it says "invalid token" and sends me back to the login page. Very frustrating. Otherwise, I'd give it a 5.

Not working at all. It either refuse log ins or says invalid token just like many other reviews had mentioned. Used to work great on my lenovo phone but now it cant work on my samsung phone at all.

I just downloaded the app for the first time. I tried three times to register an account through facebook, but Nearify crashed every time. I closed the app, tried with both WiFi and 4G, but nothing. Now the app won't even open without crashing. This is extremely disappointing because the concept initially sounds great.

Invalid token? It used to work, now I can't log into it? I've tried every option including guest and rebooted my phone several times.

Great App... being retired I miss what's going on around town. Used it so many times, to see different places to eat. So far it's worked out great.

App keeps logging me out and have to choose interests and create profile every time! Very time consuming. Pls fix. LG G5

Used to love this app. Now, since the new sign in setup, it won't recognise my email (already registered), nor will it let me re-register, so I'm stuck in a loop. Unusable.

I logged in, selected my interests, hit the next arrow and it popped up an alert "unable to connect to Nearify servers" then it has a faded screen and loading circle that just spins endlessly... Uninstalling now. How sad.

Overall good, but could do with some additional things (such as hiding events you're not interested in)

I'm am very impressed! This app let's you narrow it down to your interests and not to mention great with the location distance option.

Doesn't seem to work anymore since upgrading to Android 7.1

Useless! It became really slow since the last time i have used it. Also, it is totally useless whereas it shows nothing but a blank page wherever i search for my location.

It won't let me use the app. It keeps crashing. I really was hoping for this app to work and be useful for me. Guess not

Regardless of category, the loading / searching icon persistently whirls around and nothing is ever found. Using this in a OnePlus 3. Eventbrite works infinitely better.

Only bad things, only works with WiFi access and ticket information never works.

This app won't let me login or do anything. I used to use it to just generally see what's around but I can't find anyway of getting past the login screen even as a guest. I've installed and re-downloaded bit to no avail.

Why do you need my contact list? The number of events in my area has plummeted rapidly in the last month or so. Not a good trade off of functionality, privacy, and bugs.

This is exactly what I needed. With an exhaustive list of events near me, arranged so neatly, it totally hits the sweet spot! Highly Recommended for going out.

Wow, this has gotten surprisingly bad; can't see events without choosing 10 topics out of hundreds, many of which are almost identical or not a thing where I live. Used to just show nearby events. It's not that hard.

Either I get invalid token or back to sign in Screan. Maybe not Useful to people in York region /toronto ontario. Plus there is no help or support option:(

Not working at all after update. Very frustrating. I'm on Android Nougat DP5. App was fine until I updates it now it just loads and says cannot process your request at this time... EDIT: Working well again, thanks for responding to me and keep up the good work!

Nearify makes finding near by events very easy and lets me have access to information I wouldn't normally find. I have already attended things through Nearify that I wouldn't have known existed! So thank you Nearify! I will be using you a lot.

What? Finally, an app that actually gives you info on stuff you're actually interested in? What's wrong with these people? Better than all the rest, Nearify is the best! Just choose your interests, and let Nearify do the rest!

It gives an opportunity to mingle with people who shares same passion as you have. Awesome idea to bring same mind on same platform even though u never met all through your life. I liked it...:)

I think you might need to upgrade to your GUI.GUI is nit as great as i expected.and u should add some buttons like suggested for you.

I love how this app takes the boredom out of life. At any given time I can filter and search for things I want to do. I have recommended this app to a lot of my friends.

Redid server went away. I'm sure it's a wonderful app. But I just won't know till I can sign in.
