Pizza Calculator

Pizza Calculator helps you find out how to get the best deals when ordering pizza.

You only have to provide a pizzas name, size, and price, and Pizza Calculator will automatically calculate the value (square inches of pizza per dollar) and area (total amount of pizza). In addition to providing calculations, you can also create a list of pizzas that are saved for future reference.

The list can be sorted three ways: by value, by area, and by price. It can also set to ascending or descending order. This can help you find pizzas by highest or lowest value, biggest or smallest total amount, and by cheapest or most expensive. Feeling hungry? Sort your list by area and you can easily find the biggest pizza. A little strapped for cash? Sort by price and set it from lowest to highest to easily find the cheapest pizza. Just want a good deal on a pizza? Sort by value from high to low to get the most for your dollar.

Pizza fun fact: Two 8" pizzas are not the same as a single 16" pizza. The combined area (total amount) of two 8" pizzas is actually half that of a single 16" pizza. With this in mind, now suppose 2 8" pizzas costed $14, while a single 16" costed $16. You would be much better of ordering the single 16" pizza ($2 more for 2x the amount of 2 8" pizzas). Using Pizza Calculator can help you avoid a pitfall such as this when deciding between pizzas.
