Crescendo Music Notation Free

This is the best app on the Android market but it needs a lot of work. The input is clunky and it's hard to zero in on notes with the touch screen. The formatting leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, the app is nice enough though.

This is one of the top music composition apps on the PlayStore- a young composer's dream with a very easy interface. However, there is one major issue that sets this app back-- there is no note or chord playback. Instead I have to guess how a certain note sounds, or replay the entire piece to hear the one note or chord that needs to be fixed. This adds up to a lot of wasted time and frustration. If this simple issue was fixed, I would use this app often and would consider it the best music app out there.

I'm on v1.61 & paid to unlock everything. I don't get updates. I will have to UNINSTALL & reinstall to update (tried the app store). Will I have to pay AGAIN to keep using this rather pathetic software. No guitar chords, the lyrics are One Word Positioned, independent...not in flowing lines like NORMAL free PC software. Only 1 line fits. Does not print what I see. Why's it so hard to get an app inn 2016 to do what Atari, Apple & Comodore did perfectly in 1990 (or earlier) & in 64K? We want multiple saffs, notation, guitar chords with lyrics (more than 1 line) which flow properly under the notes. THE THINGS YOU CAN DO ON PAPER. Guess its a virtual desktop & my free PC & Mac software for me. All droid notation apps suck.

Users can't print out the sheet music or save it even as a .PDF file, which I would think that it should at least be able to do that much. Also, doesn't work with the Pianist (Piano +) app, which is a must have. Still, this app is a great teaching tool, and every first year music student should be required to use it religiously.

What about the ties (and the dynamics?) In this game, it doesn't work so good, the ties, it doesn't hold the note, the dynamics, p, pp, ppp, it doesn't sound soft, f,ff, fff, it is not loud and also the bass clef how can we add a bass clef.

Its user freindky an i finded it so easy making songs compared to other apps

Just finished my music, but there's no image exporting, need to print it.

Have used music notation software many times and looked at this for my 9 year old son. Could not find any way to make 2 systems (i.e. piano) and this is therefore of little use to a budding composer. (Also corrected a d# missing in the left hand of the Sugar Plum example... really, get your notes right in your demo, for goodness sake!

I just wrote peice of music that just turned to a piece garbage, why because you can't print . Otherwise it's fine, but your computer version is exellent as we can print the music and the controls are easier to handle as we just have to right click to edit

This app would most definitely be my go to app and tell everybody, but not having a playback and uncomplicate it just a tad would make this a 5

Would love to have some percussion notations

Without the ability to change time signature the ap is virtually useless. Pity because with this it would appear to be worth 4/5 stars

In spite of what the instructions may say, it's 4/4 or nothing, difficult as that may be to believe.

To be fair...nice GUI....but thats all i can say about it . Couldnt see instrument selection or playback options. Needed the memory back. Uninstalled.
