More Comercials /adds than anyother app? Literaly twice as many just ridiculous.! put new episode up faster it takes you forever why only once you had a new episode available a cpl hours after it aired and now on demand tou have new episodes some what fast but tou have to buy it to watch what am i paying for cable and on demand anyway?

Update 4/7/17: the buffering is getting worse and it will show a scene 2 or 3 times and then buffer. This app sucks. It's pretty good except for the fact that it has to buffer a lot. Doesn't matter if I'm on my Samsung S7 or if I'm on my Amazon Fire TV.. it buffers a lot. There's not that many ads so I'm not sure what those complaints are about, maybe if they've just recently updated it. Definitely not a lot of ads just a lot if buffering and audio playing while the picture freezes.

I don't mind the ads it allows me to actually do some work during them. Lol. The shows are great, the only thing I don't like is some of the shows I want to watch that I have never seen are already in the 2nd or 3rd season and the app doesn't have the option to watch them. Only Shades of Blue has multiple seasons. Other than that it's a 5 star.

Don't bother contacting the app's customer service team, as they won't get back to you. Two emails, one week apart, and no response. That's by clicking on the "contact us" option in the app itself. The app is good IF it'll allow you to play episodes of a show that you like... doesn't play many shows for me. And it's not because I'm not a cable subscriber, because I am. Not sure what the problem is, and without communication from them, I'm left to just say "nevermind".

Why haven't they added support 4 ppl who don't have a tv provider? Cbs does, they give u an option 4 all access where u pay but also have free svc if u don't want 2 pay. U guys should have both since alot of ppl only stream nowadays. Also they need to have an option where u can change the quality of your streaming on data so u dont use up all your data on just 2 shows in a month. ABC has that option.

I used to love this app. Now it buffers and loads slow. Never had this problem tell the last few upgrades. Now if it buffers to long I get a connection error. I am using the same Internet as I always had. 45 min show now takes two plus hours to watch if it let's you

I like it a bit. However it does have it's flaws, some time's it can take 2-4min for the picture to completely deabler after a commercial. The commercials freeze sometimes as well. This is a very good app to down load, I would recommend it to everyone.

There's no free content. Which is stupid because this is a local station. Being that this is a local station, something I could access with an antenna, then why do I need to have a cable or satellite provider for this app to work?

Update: Now it crashes as soon as you try to watch anything or click on shows. Please fix asap! Buffers too much sometimes and def needs to use less data but all and all I'm happy. Oh and allow me to cast to my Sony Bluray like I can with YouTube. Fix those things and I'll def give a 5 star rating :)

Being a busy mom keeps me from sitting in front of the TV to catch the news for the day, but with this app I'm able to watch the news daily once the house has gone to bed for the evening. Only downfall & why I am giving it 3☆ is because the Nightly News doesn't update daily, so I watch a day old news :( UPDATE now it is updated occasionally same day just very very late. I would like to see it uploaded by 8pm. I did find a great new show, This is Us ♡ it. Wish more were available without a need to log in a service.

Love the direct access to NBC shows but the inability to skip forward to where you left off is highly irritating. Even when the app indicates you can 'continue watching' it still starts you from the beginning when you select the episode. I know several people with the app and they all experience the same thing. I am using Chromecast and am not sure the issue exists with other methods of playback.

I basically like this app. Yes, there are a lot of commercials but all the free network apps have them (except PBS). My problem is trying to sign in with cable provider. No matter what I do it just buffers and never goes to sign in screen! Bad enough you have to have cable to watch network tv, at least allow you to sign in. I use an android tablet if that makes a difference and this is only a recent problem.

The videos play smoothly. They were no skipping, repeating and pausing in the last 6 episodes I've viewed. I can tolerate the ads (which there are quite a few) as long as I can I watch the shows in this manner. I gave this app 5 stars.

Extremely terrible app. Very slow, can't forward a clip if you have seen a part of it already, and if you try, it just goes back to the start of the clip. Very disappointed! You would expect a better app from such a huge network.

It keeps saying I need to sign in even though I already am then it takes me to the 3 steps page and won't get past verify account after I enter my user name and password and just keeps circling at step 2 to verify account. I have sent emails and everything regarding this issue and no response. I also have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Never had a problem until about a month ago.

In order to watch streaming content I have to enter a PAID TV provider name, my user name, my password??? I don't pay for my TV, I watch over the air (which is not a selection). So, when my power goes out I cannot use my mobile devices to stream free TV?!?!? WHAT A JOKE!!!

Spends more time buffering than playing and the data connection is always fine. Will start an episode I'm watching in a different place than where I left it when continuing. Extra ad breaks will actually interrupt the program before an actual designated commercial break. Uninstall!

I am unable to stream shows on Samsung S7 and Samsung tablet. Phone does not respond when you click sign in and says my zip code isn't supported even though I was able to watch 2 shows on my phone when I first downloaded the app. Tablet will not do anything. It only spins at the episode loading screen.

I enjoy this way to see shows that im unable to when traveling. It buffers some on my samsung phone but not enough to be annoying. I love its free. I heard some shows only stream thru cable provider. What i wstch has been available and free and had very few interruptions. So i rated a 5.

Service unavailable. Well guess what? If you already have a cable or satellite subscription then you don't need this app. If you DON'T have a cable or satellite subscription then this app doesn't work. Therefore this app is absolutely useless.

The app will play advertisements WONDERFULLY. However, when it comes to your show, whether you're on Android or Xbox, quality drops for 5-10 minutes and after they show their opening advertisements, the app will die and blame your WiFi for not being good enough. Despite other streaming apps working fine. Advertisement volume changes drastically, too, from comfortable to blowing out your speakers. An embarrassment to streaming apps all over.

Using this app is so easy. Yes there are ads but its just one or maybe two never more than that at a time. Once I gave up cable I wasn't sure how it was going to watch shows I used to DVR. This is the answer!

The NBC App is the best organized of the networks and offers the most shows. Yes ads are annoying and repetitive but I'm happy to let them run to have access the shows that I miss because of scheduling.

The app works well. There are no problems with playback. I don't think you should have to sign in with your TV provider to watch. I love having the whole season of shows to binge watch, instead of just 5 episodes.

Whenever I go to open the app to watch a show a message pops up saying "unfortunately the nbc app has stopped". It will work on the 4th try.

I really want to love this app but I constantly have to uninstall and then reinstall the app in order to watch shows. Otherwise the loading message just keeps rotating on the screen. It also freezes quite a bit while watching.

Lots of commercials! What's REALLY annoying is how commercials are placed. Not at regular commercial breaks but randomly after a scene has begun.

Love the shows on nbc especially when they have full seasons but the app needs a lot of work it is constantly buffering and restarting the episode you are watching back to the beginning. It also takes a lot of time to load and messes up a ton.

I'm incredibly grateful to be able to watch my favorite shows! Like most in this economy, I work two jobs and go to school. My only time to catch up is while doing dishes, in between shifts, etc, but especially after a long day, it's nice to relax and catch up. This encourages viewer support instead of illegal downloading. It's good that the networks are finally catching up with the times.

Downloaded it 2 separate times and it still disconnects when playing videos. Ads play fine no interruptions. The app also keeps asking for sign in the says video is not authorized to play in zip code.

This used to work great. Tried watching something and it told me that I needed to update the app. I tried but it won't update and gives me error message. Thought I would uninstall and then reinstall. No luck. Error message. Followed all the help suggestions and nothing worked. Pissed off,

I love everything about this app except for when it has a glitch with starting thankfully that only happened 2 times in one day and I've been using this app for 6 months. It's perfect for people on the go so they can stay up to date on everything they watch!!

Pointless to those of us that don't have a TV provider... unless you want to wait an extra week... I tried to watch a show online and had technical issues so I tried to download this only to find out I had to sign in with my provider... make me watch ads sure but it's useless if you don't have a provider.

If you don't have a cable, satellite, or fiber service provider then the app does not allow login. I use a digital antenna for the basic local broadcasting because I refuse to pay the service providers high cost.

The series are informative, riveting, and mind-blowing on many occasions! Sometimes you think you have things figured out only to be proven wrong. Love the app and the presentations!

Every time I tried to open the app on my Moto Z Force Droid, I got an error message saying "NBC has stopped" or "NBC keeps stopping." So, I uninstalled it. But, the app works fine on my old Galaxy tablet.

NBC and the app has become completely unusable. Cannot watch on Android, cannot cast, and on computer, an episode starts back to the beginning after each commercial break. Completely useless.

Love the app. When I'm ready for bed I can get on my phone trun on my fav. Show and relax. It fast,easy,AND free. You could do a little less ads though.

Crash Report!!! App was fine before the Update. Now it won't even start, just immediately crashes! Uninstalled and downloaded 4 times. Still won't work. I wanna catch up on Blindspot!

Why do I have to see soooo many ads? The fact that your app throws ads up even when the app isn't running is BS. 1-2 ads per break MAX, but 5+ ads every break? No thanks. If you fix that and the pop-up ads when the app isn't even running and I will come back and increase your rating.
