SeeYou IGC Flight Recorder for Android
GOOD LOGGER but UNPROFESSIONAL to make the app work only w/ account all of a sudden. I was at the glider field this morning, opened the app to log a beautiful flight and.... Surprise!!! Boooo.
This is a great flight tracker for my glider flights but it really would be handy if there was Android Wear support!
It's free and it works well, with no hassle. What more could we want?

Cant really even use the app until you're ready to throw down 50euros a month. These guy's really think highly of themselves. I can get HBO for $15 dollars a month and there just helping me log flights and want 3x more?
SeeYou is dead! Use other apps free. B-)
Poor GUI and recorded flight not viewable instantly in the App. Disappointed in comparison to the very much professional Flight Recorder 24
This is the best and most simple to use app that produces a valid tracklog for the uk paragliding xc league. If you are using XCSoar or XCTrack just run this in the background and you will have a valid log at the end of the flight. If you want to use your phone just as a backup, start the app and just pop your phone in your pocket, it will record a tracklog and do livetracking. Great as a backup to your main instrument and the livetracking is great for safety. UPDATE: Program does not produce conforming IGC file, there is an extra L Record at the end of the file that is not in the IGC spec. This can be safely removed using a text editor without affecting the G record (so the file is still a valid IGC file). I have removed one star from my rating as it is not the flawless easy program it would be without this problem.
Status: No GPS What can I do?

Just I worry now about my phone battery in case of outlanding ;)
Missing the obvious ability to press & hold files in logbook for menu to Delete Move Copy, etc
I have used this app 4 times. Three times the log got ruined. The first time an hour of the flight went missing. The second and third time the app crashed the phone. Good idea, but very unreliable and therefore useless.
Works just fine on my Motorola Droid X with android os 2.2, but the input fields are scrambled when attempting on Google Nexus 7 with android 4.1 . Every input, including delete actions, enter all characters input to date. So "Hello" becomes "HHeHelHellHello"
I used SeeYou Recorder for the first time today, for a little local flight with a hang glider. Very simple to use. I've been using MyTracks on my DroidX and it kills the battery unless I have it record track points quite coarsely. The kml files show my circles as triangles in GoogleEarth! I set SeeYou Recorder to log every two seconds and flew for one hour and fifteen minutes, hoping the phone's battery would survive. The battery still had nearly a full charge when I landed! I opened the igc file in my old copy of SeeYou and saw those beautiful smooth spirals I remember, plus the other useful info. Translated the igc to kml with GPSBabble and put it into GoogleEarth and it looked great there too. I haven't used my old copy of SeeYou since a hardware upgrade left it unable to read data from my Garmin Geko (with a USB to 9-pin serial adapter). I've missed it. I guess I'll be upgrading the software now so I can get my tracks from the Cloud :)
Can't enter details in the profile screen like glider etc, same issue as Sean posted above, app not useable on Xperia Active
Looks very good! A few comments: -would be nice to have a 'Delete' function on logbook page (long press for options?) - confirm passwd field might be good idea to prevent bad passwd being entered (as I managed!)
The data entry fields scramble as you type. Two words: quality control. Two more: XC Soar! This is a free registration gimmick for naviteer. It is complete crud.
Not exactly what one would expect but nevertheless flattering. Seriously Sean. If there is a problem with input on your device we are most interested. Please write to support at naviter dot com and we'll fix it. Thanks. Andrej
Finally a tool to link my igc logs with my flight logs
great! i just wish my logbook would grow a little faster.
Galaxy S. Swype input. How do you do it anyway? Don't you use standard input field? Maybe it is something related with Swype?
