Pls don't think I'm anti navigon. I've had it on my phone since it first came out! New version has gps lag and 3D view turnings look like far away but only mtrs, could miss turnings! Would like to revert to previous version, ...update as of 6.1.14..... the reason we bought navigon was we dont like garmin! Stop adding garmin stuff to this nav. We didnt ask for yr changes esp when its all a marketing ploy!! Because I cant revert. I used a torrent to find earlier version! Take me to court!!!

Annoying shop icons other purchases that are available are too highly priced your certainly securing gay garmins future at the publics expense arent you ...

Just tried out the latest version. My journey normally takes about 45 minutes. When setting out I immediately got a "New traffic bulletin which affects your journey.....". This said that average speed on route was 10mph. The same bulletin and others were repeated one after the other for about 10 minutes. I was starting to panic. Journey time was predicted to be an extra 1 1/2 hours. Needless to say traffic was lighter than normal. Journey took 45 minutes. Useless.

Getting worse with every update. Doesn't seem to work without a data connection now and half the options are hard to find in the app or have been removed , latest is I get 'an error occurred' on launch and it closes whe so I can't use app at all. Would like the money back I paid for this app and all the add-ons I paid for too. Avoid and try one of the cheaper or free options instead.

app permission problem now fixed and working fine!

As of the latest UK map update Navigon says no card installed so refuses to run. Had no problems prior to today.

I get that error all the time on xperia z5. I have tried reinstalling. Useless in its current state.

Used this app on ios and never had a problem. Since installing on android seems to just randomly stop working.keep reporting errors but when will be fixed.more dangers to keep pressing report and then restart app than for it to just work. Also why isn't the GUI the same as it was on ios? Lots simpler to use and everything to hand

Not good app as failed to download to SD card.. Best is co-pliot app

Disappointing due to cost but a solid performer should be better due to cost overall.

Keeps needing to update a 1gb file every time I open it, and then the UK map. Why?

Tried to update the UK map but it just crashes and does its report stuff. Poor show chaps and ive paid for it too

Since update I now have navigon italia home screen shortcut even though I have UK version. Very strange!

Everything i expected from navigon. Went from sat nav to this app, didnt know to expect but genius. Downside is the icon says Italian

Crap, keeps asking for money, I've already paid. Have to reinstall to get it working. Pointless if I have no signal, which is the reason I bought it in the first place. Otherwise I could use Google maps.

I love this app and it was fantastic on a UK holiday. The latest update has some great features but it has been incorrectly labeled Italia Navigon rather than Navigon UK.

Samsung Galaxy S4 and Fame, was perfect before update. Now NAVIGON screen will randomly freeze on both screens, Sat Nav still communicates turn by turn, but the screen will stay frozen and no map movement, other than distance to next exit, roundabout etc, that's the only think on screen that moves correctly....

I've used Navigon devices and software for over a decade now and always been pleased with it. It was one of the first apps I bought when I aquired my Note 4. The only issue I have is that, like another Note 4 user, it will crash when turned from portrait to landscape. If it is started in landscape it will crash once the user has chosen one of the three alternative routes. After trying various scenarios, it seems to crash if it hasn't yet managed to get a GPS fix. Is the Navigon Select fix relevant?

After a jaded few experiences with Navigon after many years of being a user, I thought it had settled. However the latest update puts a very annoying buzzing noise on the speed camera warnings which sends my girlfriend delirious with hatred! I must admit the previous version where it just said "Beware, watch your speed" was much better. If you knew how many speed traps there were on the m42 then you would empathise. Can you please put in an option to disable the buzzer alarm and use the old sound?

Was on a galaxy note 2 now note 4, well you let me down load on data now since there is no wifi where I am and I have unlimited data. But on note 4 it's fine in portrait but stops in landscape mode is it me or navigon please please let me know cause I prefer it in landscape. I have sent many reports but got nothing back. Also I hate the alarm for speed cameras makes me jump not good when driving. How do I get rid of alarm prefer just voice.

Where's the send favorites option?

This latest update missed serious map information. The M3 motorway from junction 2 to 4a near Fleet Services is under major repairs with a blanket 50mph speed limits. There are also average speed detection cameras on both carriageways.

This app works well on my S2. I've used it in Ireland and Scotland with no phone data or roaming required. It's very accurate and better that Google Maps.

I bought this on the iPhone before tomtom came out and have never been disappointed with it. The active lane assistance is a dream and it's by far one of the best nav apps out there . In app purchases are too expensive but otherwise flawless.

Wrote a detailed critique but play ate it. Short version: buy this if you enjoy being lost and like software with less features each release that you have to pay to get back

Worked ok untill I updated it, now keeps saying navigon stopped unexpectedly

New features for new customers only?? Thanks but no thanks GARMIN. Co-pilot here I come! Plus still has the pointless menu dots on the one x. Poor

About as good as gps gets on a smartphone yet... A world away from google maps and for the better Nice easy to touch (large) menu icons Zoom at junctions and roundabouts could be better Active lane guidance a gem Not far from replacing my pnd sat nav units!

Poor directions, fails to give turns at some road junctions, told to "bear left" when actual direction was straight on (and slightly right), turn left then right at x road etc. Often told to bear left/right onto road on which you are already travelling. Curiously in reverse direction the instruction were better.

Fraudsters and charlatans, avoid

Still can't get rid of or purchase. What good is the first 3 letters of a road, while the rest is blocked by a useless symbol.Bloody useless.

This application just gets worse. I complained about voice commands cutting off the first 2 seconds of every message when played through Bluetooth in my car the day after I installed it, I have yet to receive a response from Navigon. (4 months) Now with version 4.0.1 entering an address is almost painful every time I enter a single letter of an address it thinks about it for 30 seconds before it allows me to enter another letter. I have reported this to Navigon support and done everything they suggested to fix it nothing helped. Also now I cannot enter UK post codes without paying for yet another add on! No Bluetooth fix either. The worst thing is there is no trial for this very expensive app, you have to buy before you can try it out, all the other navigation app's have a 7 or 30 day trial. This app could be the best with a bit of work but currently it is not worth the money.

Full post codes cost extra?? Do not waste your money as they will ignore your request for a refund as I found! Going back to old school dashboard nav!

Full postcode restored. Had to pay 75 pence to get it back. I also had to uninstall and reinstall before it worked. I will test it out in the morning.

This is the only satnav app that works properly on ice cream sandwich .and is fantastic

I have just moved the star rating to 3. The up date on my Galaxy S4 has caused significant power drain, more than before. Also when are you going to provide maps of Cyprus, Northern and Southern. Google and Bing do. I have to switch off this app and use one of them. I have purchased the full app and now thinking of unistalling, so download offline maps from Google Maps.

This is a really good navigation app. It enables me to drive confidently throughout the UK. It's not cheap but it is worth the price. However, it doesn't seem to have the one feature that I need to use a lot - "save current location". If it had that feature I would have given it 5 stars.
