The correct positioning of your Smartphone in the vehicle is important for optimum GPS reception. For that reason, we recommend the Garmin Smartphone Universal Mount with additional USB connection so that you can also charge your Smartphone during your trip. Better screen handling as in previous versions ( eg. Bigger texts finally). Still cumbersome address input and direct address input via voice or type is pretty useless. Have been using this app in three different platform and this does what it promises but that's it. Extra apps seem overpriced so have not tried anything else than map updates. Support works somehow but nothing fancy. Would expect better customer care for loyal users or promos or beta versions...

Been using it for 3 years on different devices worked well on all of them. Only negative thing I have to say is that the volume of the Navigator gets drowned out if you're playing music from the phone at the same time and the maps don't update as frequently as in some competitors navigation software.

As in NAVIGON questions and answers, and just called them, too, Navigon uses the languate of the device. My Acer Iconia tablet is in English, not sure if can get that in Finnish, but in any case I want to have the tablet in English. Now, Navigon pronounces the Finnish street names as they were in English, so they are utterly unrecognizable. Also, cockpit and nagivation on seem to force portrait orentation.

Outdated map data, and no way to lock out road segments in these outdated maps so the route is actually usable. By outdated I mean 5-10 years. My address where I've lived for 10 years doesn't exist. Not able to connect with wifi. Just keeps telling me there is an error. My wifi works perfectly fine. Waste of money!

One of the best, except for one big thing. If a map update is issued, the app is effectively useless until update has been downloaded. Fun when abroad and internet connection is unavailable or crazy expensive. Removing 2 stars for this alone, would be 5 otherwise. Needs fixing NOW!

Still waiting for some kind of data backup for this. When having to reset the app then I lose all my configurations and saved destinations. Was told they were working on it......and that was 2 years ago.....STILL WAITING! !!
